Hi, this is my first time going to a villa. We are staying in Saratoga Spring. We need a crib and I just want to ask if each villa has a crib or you have to request in advance a crib from the hotel service?

Thank you

Each villa should have a portable Pac 'n Play crib in the closet.

Best wishes -

Be advised that it is the small "half-size" type of pack-n-play. It was a bit too small for our son and his tossing and turning. He was 18 months, too young to sleep on his own; 34" long, too long to be completely comfortable in the crib; and he kicks in his sleep like a world class soccer player so there little chance we were going to bring him in our bed.

Consider taking along extra sheets for -- well you know, just in case.

Have Fun!

we stayed at ssr this past February and are going again in 11 days. Yes you can request a crib for the little one.....we did in February and again in October. Just call member services and have them put it on your reservation.

I just returned from OKW and BCV. We requested a crib from mousekeeping after checking in and got one at both places. At OKW it was a metal crib, but not full size. It was raised with a 5 inch mattress. Perfect for the baby and bending over. At BCV we again called mousekeeping and received a full size metal crib. It was huge. So cribs do exist at the Villas, but can not be reserved. You can call AFTER getting into your room and it's first come, first serve. BTW, we had no problem taking our stroller into EVERY restraurant we ate at. If you have any baby questions I might be able to help. We travelled with a 11 week old and a 2 year old. (The 2 year old sleeps in a bed at home since 18 months, so no need for a crib for her, just for baby sister.)

thanks for the reply!
It really interested me the thing you said about the stroller because that is one of the things I was also worried about.... where to sit the baby when going to a restaurant, if they do not allow strollers.
So when arriving to the restaurant I just ask them if I can enter with the stroller, or do I have to call in advance.

Just ask them in advance, although if there's a parking lot of strollers in the foyer/outside the door (as in at Hollywood Brown Derby), that'll give you your answer.

We always asked about the stroller while checking in. We brought it into the Coral Reef, LeCellier, Concourse SH, Kona Cafe, Trail's End, Whispering Canyon. Also remember to check out the baby care centers at each of the park. They were all helpful, except MGM, which was being refurbished and they only had a room set up at the first aid center. The one at the AK is very large and roomy.
