Does anyone know if Crew's Cup Lounge still offers dinner food? Can you order just the side dishes? And how busy would it be at dinner time? Thanks:goodvibes

I had a drink at the Crew's Cup in January and the woman next to me at the bar ordered dinner there. She said that the full Yachtsman's menu is available at the Crew's Cup.

Last July, they let us order Yachtsman stuff at the Crew's Cup.

It would only make sense as the kitchen is almost right between the two places----

OK. . . now the secret's out. . . &@#%! Oh well, might as well let it all the way out. Yes, you can order restaurant food in the Crews Cup Lounge. Watch your timing however. Up until 5:30 PM the lounge uses the Captain's Grille kitchen. From 5:30 to 10:00 PM they use the Yachtman Steakhouse kitchen. The Crews Cup Lounge menu is a shorter version than the full restaurant menus, however, if you ask your server reall-l-l-y nice, he/she might just get you something not listed. We find this a great alternative when you've had a heavy eating day, especially during the IF&WF. Just drop in, without a reservation, have a libation or two and a couple of appetizers to finish off a great day!

Generally, there are table/booths available (at least every time we've done this) since those waiting for restaurant seating generally pop in for a cocktail until they're buzzed (oops. . .that could be taken two ways couldn't it?) so the turnover is usually fast.

Thanks for the response :goodvibes I ended up calling Disney Dining, and actually got a table at the Yachtsman, which I didn't think I would get since i need it in about 10 days. I decided I wanted to surprise DF with a good dinner for our first married date, so I think it is best to have an actual reservation!

Hi...I know I am bringing up an old thread...but I was trying to find the answser. Can my DS, 17 (under 21) come to the Crew's Cup with us if we are ordering alcoholic drinks...not for him, but for us. I'm not sure if it is treated as a bar/lounge or a restaurant that serves drinks.

Thanks!

It's definitely more of a bar/lounge than a restaurant, but it is Disney. Your son can come in, but they might not let him sit at the bar. There are a few pub tables in the lounge that you would be able to sit at, though.

Perfect! My oldest is celebrating her 21st and we told her we would bring her for one drink and I don't want to leave him out unless he wants to be left out and would rather be at the game room or pool:thumbsup2

Because it's an old thread, the food part of the thread isn't necessarily true today as it was back then. There is a small pub menu for food, but I don't think you can order from the Yachtsman menu there. You can always ask, but I'd be prepared for a negative answer.

Ok thank you for myself and others reading. I was going more for the drinks...so that is fine. Good to know though.

The servers there are very nice -- and they make great cocktails. I hope you have a really fun time. It's one of our favorite bars on property.

I know you are not going for the food, but if they have the lobster sliders available -- they are awesome! Just saying.
