Creme brulee

We liked Le Cellier's and Kona's but didn't care for the Brown Derby's.

Where is Fulton's and the Fountain View Coffee/Sweet shop???
My husband and I love creme brulee! Can't wait to have some.

I prefer it "classic", and the best one I've ever had at WDW was at the Concourse of all places. Second best was a toss-up between Yachtsmans and Le Cellier.

I'll chime in on the Brown Derby. I almost always get creme brulee when it is offered. I had the double vanilla bean creme brulee at BD. Nice carmelized top, and the kir royale preserves added a wonderful flavor.

One place that hasn't been mentioned - Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. If you happen to be there they have a good Khalua Creme Brulee.

Mer-

Fultons is in Downtown Disney (it used to be the Empress Lily).
The Fountainview Cafe is to the right of the 'dancing waters' fountain (the one that has music and the water dances) in Epcot. If you walk from the main front entrance to World Showcase, it would be on your right. If you remember the Pasta/Pizza Piazza (which had the other half of the building), it's near that.

I hope that this helps.......

I'm with Gene, I think the milk chocolate creme brulee at Fulton's is outstanding, rich and creamy but not too overwhelming. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it, mmmmm!

Thanks for the locations *Flower*!!! I look forward to try the Creme Brulee there!

We loved the creme burlee at Yachtsman Steakhouse!

Mer-

You and DH could always do a 'creme brulee around the World' tour.....
You know- a little bit here and a little bit there.....
You two could share one at each place you decide to try, and that way you could try even more of them!!

Some of the other DISers do 'beer around the World', or 'drinks around the World', or whatever else you'd like to try......

Have Fun!!!!

*Flower*-that's exactly what DD intends to do this trip.

She is the creme brulee expert and we are on the Gold Plan. Dessert is included with every meal LOL!! (thank goodness she's athletic)

mom_rules-

Well, if you're doing the GOLD package......

You might want to broaden her horizons a bit. There's the banana napoleon at the Flying Fish (DHs favorite at that restaurant), the chocolate lava cake at Coral Reef, the eclairs and napoleons at the Boulangerie Patisserie in France (WS at Epcot), the s'mores at 50's Prime Time (MGM), any of the desserts at Beaches and Cream, the key lime pie at Rainforest Cafe (DTD) you can get it to go and grab a table near the Gharridelli Shop and watch your face suck in.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks *Flower* - I'm printing the list and giving it to DD
to add to her things to do list.
As luck would have it we have PS for all your suggestions (plus
a ton more) except for France. We are eating our way around WDW this trip.

You've hit on the reason I go to WDW!!!! Creme Brulee...any shape, any flavor (but cracked pepper) or any size. Just last night we were fantasizing about our favorite thing to eat at WDW and I yelled (all together now..............) Creme Brulee!
BTW...I heard the Brown Derby has BLUEBERRY!
Gotta go...I'm salivating profusely!:)

The Boulangerie Patisserie is a counter-service type place, so there's no PS required. Just get in line and take a look behind the glass windows, and make a choice!!
DH and I usually do the 'split' thing, because we like to try all sorts of different foods while we're there.
Oh, there's a really good dessert in the Mitsukoshi restaurant in the Japan area of WS!! And we did the Teppanyaki room in the restaurant for the first time in January (kind of like Benihana).

Tell your DD to have a fantastic time!!!
And don't forget the Beavertails in Canada (kiosk).

I would bet money the cracked pepper server was pulling your leg.

Beaver Tails in Canada is DS favorite. He goes over there everyday for his fix. I thought that they weren't open that often anymore-Can anyone confirm?

They're usually open in the evening in low season- but for spring break they might open earlier.

DHs fave is the maple/chocolate.

Is the Creme Brulee at Fulton's Worth the trip to Downtown Disney????

I've never been to Fulton's (just a bit pricey for me, considering the reviews), but maybe someone will have an answer for you.

Good luck!!

I've read some negative reviews, but we've never had a bad meal at Fulton's. I've enjoyed every meal I've had there, especially the chocolate creme brulee! If it's in your price range and you have the time, I would definitely make the trip!
