Hey everyone! I am a huuuuge creme brulee fan and I have seemed to notice a trend going around Disney restaurants...creme brulee is everwhere..from France to Canada to a lot more! I was wondering where the best creme brulee is? Any suggestions?:confused3

Mmmmm, I really couldn't pick just one favorite place of mine to eat it at. I've had Kona's, LeCellier's, WGP Express, and Sunshine Seasons. All very good! This trip I plan on getting all of those and adding Coral Reefs and Chefs De France too!!!

Hmmm...I am planning on going to Sunshine Seasons and LeCellier (if I can get in)..I will definitely have to get it at those places!! Thanks!!!

for pure classic creme brulee...Les Chefs de France

for interesting (and also very good) the maple creme brulee at Le Cellier

but best OMG-can't-believe-how-good-this-is is the Banana Creme Brulee at Kona Cafe...a layer of gooey/creamy chocolate fudge on the bottom, then creme brulee, topped by a carmelized half banana...outstanding!

At Jiko they have a pistachio creme brulee and the bottom of the dish has a layer of chocolate on it.

Wolfgang puck express has the best!! It's perfect. The others always sit really heavy, imo.

I really enjoyed the pistachio creme brule at Jiko. The thought of pistachio didn't appeal to me at first, but it was prob the best I had in some time. There's a pic in my May review. Happy dining!!! :goodvibes

My fave was the tropical creme brulee at Citricos. I tried them all one year and that was the best tasting.

First off, FANTASTIC question! :thumbsup2

I love creme brulee too!

Let's see...I'll review the ones I've had...

Chefs de France - the WORST in my opinion. The custard itself is lovely but the brulee....my god it was pathetic! It was little blackened dots of disconnected sugar! There was no solid shell of sugar, the spoon just slid into the custard. We asked them to re-brulee it twice and it just came back the same way. Then they tried to tell us we didn't know what real creme brulee way! :lmao: So I walked out to the Boulangerie behind the restaurant, bought a CS creme brulee and showed them a REAL brulee. The manager muttered and took the dessert off the bill

Boulangerie - GOOD for CS creme brulee, though you can tell they are pre-bruleed because the surface had that slightly syrupy appearance around the edges

Le Cellier - AVERAGE but I think the maple flavor is a bit overpowering

Wolfgang Puck Express - GREAT for CS creme brulee!

California Grill - my FAVORITE! The custard is divine....smooth, creamy and wonderfully COLD with a thick layer of perfectly bruleed sugar. YUM!

OK - I am officially drooling now......

And thank you all for the advice and to the OP for starting the thread.

I quite love the Le Cellier creme brulee. Yes, the maple flavour is strong - but I've never had maple anything that didn't have a strong flavour (and, trust me, being Canadian, I've had more than my fair share of maple stuff!). By nature, maple is a very intense flavour, so it's hard to get around that.

I can't say if it's the 'best', not having had enough of the various brulee's around the parks, but it certainly is something I plan on ordering when I'm there in September.

I do believe I've tried the creme brulee at every WDW restaurant and my favorite is on the one at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Please excuse FlatSharon; she's my assistant whose husband will not travel so I always take her on vacation.

My favorite creme brulee was at Kona, followed by Le Cellier. Cali grill had really good creme brulee as well. They were both exceptional. I was not impressed with it at France.

That's too funny--FlatSharon. You must be a fun boss.

Okay, I once said I thought the Creme Brulee at WPExpress was better than the Butterscotch Creme Brulee at California Grill and someone got a little huffy, but I will risk it again and say--I think WPE is better!!!!

Although, it's pretty good at CG too. It wasn't on the menu last time we were there, though (May).

Kona's banana chocolate creme brulee is by far my favorite that I've had on property! soooo good!

I haven't tried the one at WP Express, but when we ate a Cali Grill, they didn't have butterscotch. It was a banana chocolate merengue (the merengue was on the plate but not in the creme brulee. The butterscotch sounds really good. Will have to make a pit stop next time we are in DTD.
