Anybody have the recipe for the Creme Brulee they serve on board? I am not a huge dessert person, but I absolutely love the Creme Brulee!! :worship: It's been a week and a half since our cruise and I'm having withdrawal!!!!!

From the Cooking with Mickey and the Disney Chefs cookbook:

Creme Brulee:

2 1/3 cups heavy cream
1 vanilla bean, split
6 large egg yolks
10 tablespons sugar

1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
2. Warm the cream and the seeds from the vanilla bean together in a saucepan for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring, to infuse flavors.
3. In a medium bowl, mix the egg yolks and sugar together. Beat with an electric mixer at high speed for about 3 minutes, or until mixture turns whitish in color.
4. Using a wire whisk, add a cup of the cream mixture into the yolks, then gradually whisk the egg yolk mixture back into the remaining cream mixture. This process, which is called "tempering" allos the yolks to be incorporated into the warm cream without becoming scrambled. Bake for 45 minutes.
