credit toward ap question/old ticket

Question - can I use 2 days I have left on a 7 day purchased last year as credit toward a DVC AP?

You should be able to upgrade as long as the ticket was either the old-style PH or a MYW with no expiration.

They will credit you 2/7th of what you actually paid when you first bought the ticket. They will not give you 2/7th of the current cost of the same ticket.

If it's a MYW ticket, would they give you 2/7 or the difference between a 5 day and a 7 day? The way MYW's are setup, day 6 and 7 are not much additional, I can't imagine them giving you 2/7. For example, a 5 day base ticket is $211, a 7 day is $217.

My understanding is the same as DebbieB's - MYW tickets are "front loaded" so the last two days are not going to be worth much. I'm assumimg the 7 Day MYW ticket had the no-expiration feature becasue if it didn't, it has no remaining value.

If it were me, I'd ask the CM at Guest Relations to tell me the amount of the remaining value of the partially used MYW ticket before I asked to apply it towards a higher value pass. It might be better to just keep the MYW ticket for a future trip.
