What can't you use a credit card for at the Magic Kingdom? Wondering if I can just get by carrying my credit card, or if I have to bring cash too (and how much cash). I know the gift shops and sitdown restaurants take credit cards; how about the fast food stands? Snack bars?

The only place I can think of you would need cash in the Magic Kingdom would be for a Penny Press machine :) As far as I can remember even the ice cream carts take cash..probably cash only for the Carnival Games in Animal Kingdom also

The pop, ice cream, popcorn stands don't take credit cards. I don't think they even take room charges. I would make sure to carry enough cash on you to cover these minor expenses.

Yep yep. Always take just a little bit of money just in case for those carts. Otherwise, you should be ok with just having a credit card.

I've never used a credit card that the pop, popcorn or ice cream stands, but I've used the DDP. I would think that if they are equipped to handle the DDP, they should be able to take credit cards too. :confused3

You could always use your CC to purchase some Disney Dollars to use at the park that day.
