Sorry, I know this has been asked before but I just can't find the answer right now.

Do you need the actual physical credit card at the resort for the room charges? I'm just wondering if I can use my husband's (who won't be there) credit card for that or if I'll need to have it in hand.

You'll need it on hand.:thumbsup2

You mean his credit card number??? Written on a piece of paper??

As the PP stated, you will need the physical card; they swipe it to place it on your KTTW card.

Okay, thanks all! For as many times as I've been to AKL, my husband has always dealt with the front desk. It has just worked out that way.

Or I could go ahead and post it here in the thread to see what everyone thinks. ;)

J/K. I used his card to do the online check-in, but wasn't sure if I'd need to actually bring the card with me or if that would have been enough.

I know for me; I always pay off my trip with my debit card, since I do it when I get my tax refund deposited in my checking account.

And I use the credit card when I go to Disney, so I have had to always bring the actual card. But I am pretty sure they need to swipe it to activate it with the bank anyway.

When I've gone, they've always asked for the card, even if it's the one already associated with the account. Have fun on your trip!

1) You must present the actual card.
. . . they like to swipe it
. . . but, it could be input manually
. . . however, they want to see the card to prevent fraud
2) At check-in, you can present your husband's card for room charges.
. . . the last name must match
. . . his name needs to be on the ressie
. . . these prevent fraud
