On WDWIG, Deb says they don't charge your card unless you don;t show, but I have heard they charge it and take it off the your bill. I plan to use vouchers for CRT and would really rather not have them hold the money I could be using for other things- how does this work?

I can tell you I was charged immediately upon making our ressie for CRT and just paid the CC bill for it. I was told it would be credited off of my bill when we receive it after breakfast.

I think I read somewhere that after you secure your Cindy's PS you should tell the CM you plan on using a voucher. Then they switch you to a different department to take care of it. I am too paranoid to mess with my Cindy's reservation, so I will see what can be done, once I am there.

They definetly charge your CC right away.

This can be very confusing. We had PS in Aug for 2 adults and 1 child, I called a few days before to change it to 1 adult and 1 child. I was already charged on my credit card for the 2 adults and 1 child but was told it would cost close to $25 anyway.

I used my DDE (Disney Dining Experience) card when I got my check which should have been $25.42 less 20%. Somehow, instead of getting discounted 20% I was charged extra, it was so confusing that I didn't even know where to start by trying to figure out what was wrong with the numbers.

Somehow I paid an extra $12.12 on top of the already charged $25--which would cover tax and tip but when I take the 20% off of the $25 and add the tip and tax it sure doesn't come out to $37. It's about a $10 discrepancy. I didn't know who to follow up with it, I wasn't going to make a special trip back to MK's CRT to try & solve the problem just to have them confuse me more. And, unless I got a really good CM at CRO I'd end up spending an hr on the phone with them (which would end up costing more than the over charge).

It probably wouldn't have happened if they didn't charge the deposit...I know they've had the need to institute this policy but I just can't shake that I keep feeling like I've been ripped off.

Maybe they didn't change the reservation and charged you the $10 "NO SHOW" fee for the other adult?? Also I have heard that they increased the cost of the meal by $5 per adult, not sure on the kids.
