Credit card expires before reservation date!

Hi all,

I made an ADR today for Mama Melroses Fantasmic Package in May 2012 and used my credit card for the cancellation guarantee. The only thing is that my credit card expires in March! Do you think they will cancel my reservation in March or will I be ok? Panic, panic panic!!!
 
I doubt it. I'd call when it gets closer to March and get the new expiry date on the reservation though. You should have your card by end of Feb I'd think.

You should be getting new card shortly before this one expires. they used to send them out early but my last one just came and was right at 3 months before expiration but you can call and find out as well:thumbsup2
 

That's one thing I don't understand with this new system, what if you use a card # and then cancel that card before the reservation comes up? I can't believe they will constantly be checking the credit cards used for guarantees.
 
Its a strange one really when you start to think about it because probably thousands of credit cards are going to expire between booking and sitting down at the table for an ADR
 
You don't need to worry. I just went through this with multiple locations and as long as you don't cacel a card due to it being lost or stollen it'll be okay. b/c everything's already been processed and approved so in a sense the payments gone through without funds being exchanged.

They will not take a new credit card at this point so calling would't do anything. Relax. Your ADR is safe.

So what happens if my card is lost or stolen between now and my trip? On top of everything I have to worry about calling and changing on my ADRs too?

If the card is lost/stollen then you contact the credit card co and let them know - Disney won't change anything - and they don't need to - you let the cc co know the purchases are legit and everything will be okay.
