Credit Card Debt Free!!!!!!

So we paid off the last of our credit cards a couple weeks ago!!!!! This is the first time in about 7 years I have not had ANY credit card debt. It wasn't a lot, but when DH is the only one working outside the home and we have a couple of surpises, both kids , it took a litttle longer than we wanted. But it is done!!!!! Now to kill the debt with bank of Mommy and Daddy!

Congratulations! I will be paying off a medical loan in about 4 months and I'll be celebrating too. We have a few more things to pay off but we're getting there!

Congrats! We have been working towards this for 4 years. We will be officially done with credit card debt in June 2012. If we stay on track, we will be car debt free with 2 2010 vehicles in May 2014. Then to tackle the student loans - it is a long process but worth it. October will be our first vacation in the 4 years since we started this process. Paid for in cash. Yes, we could have put it towards our debt, but we really needed a vacation and scrapped up the money in a variety of ways that we don't typically do. We will now use those same strategies to maximize paying off debt.
