Credit Card and Payment in Full Question and TIW

The last couple of times we have gone to Disney we had the DDP or DxDP so I never really paid attention to the restaurants that require payment in full upon booking or that require a credit card to hold the reservation.

For our trip in 2011 I will probably have to make the dining reservations long before we actually book the resort (we will be waiting for either a public discount or AP rates). We also aren't sure if we will be doing the DDP or not. Since we are AP holders now we may just get the TIW card and use that.

So please refresh my memory. Is my list below correct? Am I missing any others? We will have a larger group this time and want to be sure to have the funds necessary if we have to pay upfront.

4) Akershus - Credit Card Guarantee
5) California Grill - Credit Card Guarantee

Also, if we get the TIW card how does the 20% discount with the card work with dining reservations for places such as Hoop De Doo? Can I still make the reservations online and get my 20% discount at booking or do I need to call or will they refund my 20% on site?

Do I need to purchase my TIW card PRIOR to making the dining reservations in order to get the 20% discount OR do I just need the TIW card when we arrive on-site?
