Calling all you creative thinkers out there! I need some help coming up with ideas for how to use spring-clip clothespins.
My SIL is having twins, and I'm helping to organize the baby shower. One of the games that we're playing is that all the guests will be given two clothespins to clip to their clothing. If they are caught crossing their legs, they will have to give up one of their clothespins to the person who caught them. At the end of the shower, the person with the most clothespins gets a prize, and then all the clothespins will be given to my SIL.
She's not really a clothespins kind of person, but this is the game that was chosen, so I'm making the best of it. (Long story there...) I'm going to paint all the clothespins with fun colors and then give them a weatherproof seal and put them in a cute bag, but I'd also like to give SIL a list of "alternative uses" for clothespins to make the gift more practical.
So far all I can think of is to use them to close chip/snack bags or to hold curtains closed in a hotel room. Any other ideas out there? How do you use clothespins?

While my SIL might get a kick out of *those* suggestions, I can only imagine MIL's

That way, you never mix up your shoes (which I've done on countless occasions) and one shoe will never get lost among the others.
