These are terrific! DS20 and I will be there in three weeks, just the two of us, so I don't know that I'll get him to do much character stuff, but I'm going to try! We want to do the "magic" shot with Photopass where they put Tinkerbell in your hands -- but he wants to act like he's going to squash her. Hmmm.
This is from a trip in probably '97 -- the boy with the blanket is now 16, and the boy in the middle is DS20. It was at Chef Mickey's.
We had terrific interaction with Donald at Cape May Breakfast in June 2011. My son was hiding because he didn't want his pic taken. Donald started messing with my husband and ended up with my son cackling.
Sorry for the # of pics just wanted to show the whole story. As you can see not planned. But I think the candid ones are sometimes the best.
My DS (5 at the time) was wearing a Star Wars T-shirt and Chip noticed it and pretended to wield an imaginary light saber. My son imitated him, so we got a photo of their imaginary light saber duel.
My Son-in-law decided to do a traditional picture with Mike Wazowski. In Monsters Inc every time a picture of Mike is taken he's always hidden behind something. Mike and Sully really got a kick out of this.
It wasn't posed and in fact just happened very quickly before any knew it, but one my favorite pictures was taken at 1900 Park Fare breakfast several years ago. You know where you take the picture with Mary Poppins right outside the doors, before you enter the dining area? I guess either they weren't that busy in there, or else maybe Tigger was going on a break, but anyway my elderly mom was standing next to Mary Poppins and I was getting ready to snap the picture, when Tigger suddenly appeared, made a flying run, dropped to the floor and slid down on his side with his head propped on his hand, and rounded up right in front of their feet. When I snapped the picture, my mom was standing there with a shocked smile on her face, Mary Poppins was looking down at Tigger shaking her finger at him and scolding him, (actually she was saying "Bad Tigger, Bad Tigger"), and Tigger was laying on the floor in front of them, perfectly on his side, with his legs crossed, and his head resting in his hand, with the other paw resting on the floor, looking directly at the camera. With the glare on Mary Poppins face and the huge smile on Tiggers, it came out so cute.
While on a Fastpass run across Epcot, I ran into these two hilarious girls with no line - I asked them to show me a really fancy pose, and this is what they came up with! It's one of my favorite pictures from my trip.
