Creative people Teacher gift help!

ok kback to the gift card I guess. Hey it'll save me time anyway. I am friendly with this teacher as we have older boys that are friends- so I don't think she'd toss a homemade gift(as she has sent me cookies from her house just last week) but I will think of her just as "a special teacher" vs. A teacher that happens to be a friend too.
Maybe I'll do a small gift card- along with the frap bottles filled with school supplies like funky paper chips, thumbtacks, pencils, stickers

This sounds like a great idea. :thumbsup2

I just saw a cute gift idea online -- a lemonade basket. Give the teacher some lemons, a cute container with sugar in it, a pretty, summer looking glass and put it all in a cute basket lined with raffia. Use some sprigs of mint or even a small mint plant to decorate. For the card put a school photo of your child on the front and the lemonade recipe on the back. You can find several single serving lemonade recipes on line. One variation of lemonade is to make lemon-lime ade so include a couple of limes. Or lemonade ice tea so maybe add a few special teabags. Wrap the whole think in clear wrap and tie it with a bright yellow ribbon. It sounds very cute and summery. Oh, you could also add some kind of lemon cookies or shortbread. Fofr the sugar you could put it into a small mason jar and line the lid with yellow and white gingham fabric. Ultimately it's just a glass of lemonade but what a cute basket presentation!
