Creative help needed for Stitch Party

My niece will be turning 13 next month. My husband and I are raising her as her parents are unfit. The last 2 years have been difficult at times but we have gotten through and now she is becoming a young lady. We make sure our families (including my husbands) include her when they include our boys so she never feels left out. We treat her just like we would our boys (they are 3 and 4).

We are having a picnic/hawaian party for her. Her fav chara is Stitch. I was looking for help with wording the invites to include "Ohana" for family and maybe something for Birthday.....any ideas?!?!?!

I know how many creative people we have here. Any thoughts for other party ideas?

It is a beautiful thing that you and your husband are doing. It takes very special people to take on that responsibility and it warms my heart.

You could do the limbo, coconut rolling, a hula competition. Oriental Trading has lots of luau stuff. Also check out birthdaypartyideas.com for lots of luau ideas. I'm not great with invitation wording, unfortunately, but I bet you'll get some good ideas from others. Some of my favorite Disney quotes are from Lilo and Stitch, including "Ohana means family and family means no one gets left behind". I know your niece is grateful to have you in her life.
