Creating own web pages/website questions!!

I was thinking that I would like to try and create some pages or a site of our upcoming trip. Is there anywhere for beginers to get info and fee webspace? I use aol but as much as I can figure out I can only make one page?? I am willing to take the time to walk myself through this and was just wondering where to start! I am kind of envisioning a scrapbook of sorts on the computer- Thanks in Advance for any advice or info

Check out www.worldzone.net. Several people have gotten space there. They have space that you can register for that is free. The only thing is that they place an ad at the bottom of every page. I believe that all the free sites do this in one form or another. Some are much more annoying than others. At least with Worldzone it is at the bottom rather than at the top of each page. Some even have popup ads and to me those are the most annoying.

I also believe that when you register, you have access to some tools for building your web pages.
