Create your own bag from Disney Store Online...

Has anyone purchased the "create your own bag" from the Disney Store online? I would love to purchase these for my two DD's and myself to carry in the parks next June, but I can't find the dimensions of the bags anywhere? Just wondering what size the small and large messenger bags are, and if you've purchased any of them, how do you like them?

Wow....I can't believe that nobody has purchased any of them! Anyone else considering buying one? If so, which one, and why?

Well, I ended up purchasing three of these bags, and since nobody seemed to know anything about them when I previously asked about them, I thought maybe you'd like to know more about them.

They're great!! I ordered 3 of the small sized messenger bags. A navy blue colored one with a Mickey Mouse embroidered on it (for me), a lavender colored one with Pluto on it for my DD (11) and a pink one with Tinkerbelle on it for DD (7). They are really nice quality. I think they were $16.50 each but I had a code for free shipping and 15% off. If you're thinking about buying one, I think they're a great buy.

Those sound cute. How big is the small sized bag. What could you fit in it?

So what were the sizes of them? And what if anything is inside...pockets, mesh, maybe somewhere to stash a water bottle? Was considering getting them the REI Donner, but it's a little larger than I'd hoped (got one for me)...and the smaller one doesn't have the water holder or other features.

I was looking at the one on DS for the daughters, but one likes Ariel and the other like Belle....they only have Ariel & Cinderella, so I'm kinda hoping with the holidays coming up they'll add some more Princesses.

Any chance you could post a photo of it opened? Thanks!

Hmmm been wanting a smaller messenger type bag - this would fit the bill nicely - if you use the "Design" code its 30% off also!

The small messenger bag is approximatley 14" wide, 11 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" deep. There is a zippered pocket on the outsite on the flap (runs the length of the flap), 2 small mesh pockets (1 on each side), and a pocket that runs lengthwise accross the back which closes with velcro. When you open the flap, you will find 2 pen pockets, a cell phone pocket which fastens with velcro, and a 3" x 5" mesh pocket that zips shut. The inside of the bag is separated into 3 pockets which run length wise, 2 of which are open at the top and the third one (in the back) velcros shut. I will try to post pictures later this morning, after my DD's go to school (the bags are Christmas gifts).

Ok, I'm going to try to post some pictures. Hopefully this will work...

I'm not very good at the whole "picture thing", but hopefully this will give you an idea of what they look like, and what kind of pockets they have. If you have any other questions, let me know and I'll try to answer them. Oh, by the way, I do think a small water bottle would fit in the mesh pockets on the side of the bag.

The strap is adjustable, but at its longest is about 45". At it's shortest it would be about half that. There is also a small handle on top of the bag.
