Here is one to think about - and you might have already done it!

Create a CD with your 12 all time favorite songs on it.

What songs would you choose? Will it be an ecclectic mix like mine or all be along the same lines?

And of course, you have to come up with a catchy title for it :) I think I'll call mine "MeanLaureen's Mega Mix"

My CD would include:

1. Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
2. Walking on the Sun - Smash Mouth
3. Rock the Casbah - The Clash
4. Desperate But Not Serious - Adam Ant
5. I don't Like Mondays - Boomtown Rats
6. Ordinary World - Duran Duran
7. Don't Bring Me Down - ELO
8. Never Tear Us Apart - INXS
9. Hotel California - The Eagles
10. Come Dancing - The Kinks
11. In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel
12. Killer Queen - Queen

What's on your CD?

Oops! I have to amend my CD to 13 tracks! I completely forgot one of my favorites :)

Play That Funky Music - Wild Cherry

Not necessarily all-time favs, but all meaningful to me. No particular order, and my list would likely be different tomorrow.

1. Que Sera Sera - Doris Day
2. The Entertainer - Scott Joplin
3. Love is a Song - from Disney's Bambi
4. Be Thou My Vision - hymn, but I'd like Michael Card's rendition
5. I Could Never Promise You - Don Francisco
6. Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry
7. The Tide is High - Blondie
8. Poems, Prayers and Promises - John Denver
9. Chiquitita - ABBA
10. The Lord's Prayer - my late Grandpa's solo
11. The Coloring Song - Petra
12. The Beer Barrel Polka (Roll Out the Barrel) - ??, just want piano/instrumental
13. If I Knew You Were Coming I'd Have Baked a Cake - Eileen Barton

Tough one...

I'd pick :

1.Anna Begins - Counting Crows
2.Acidentally in Love - Counting Crows
3.Murder of One - Counting Crows
4.Bury my Lovely - October Project
5.Take me as I am - October Project
6.Fever - Peggy Lee

10.Part of Your World - The Little Mermaid
11.One to the Right - Lucky Boys Confusion
12. Whistle Down the Wind - Andrew Llyod Webber
13. I'm a Vampire - Future Bible Heros

That is what I call eclectic

I'm sure I could come up with 100 more, but it really depends on my mood. ;)
