CRB or ASM Suites??? Buses? Rooms?

We are trying to decide on one of these for our January vacation for 3 adults/2 kids. I know we have noticed in the past (all our trips have been at Pop or AofA) that the bus lines seemed really crowded for both. I've read on slow times the AllStars share a bus.....but I also know CRB is a big resort. Anyone know which would be best as far as buses go in January? And what about the niceness of the rooms? It would be a room with the murphy beds at CRB or a suite at ASM. Any opinions you have on any of these would be appreciated!!! Oh, also, location of rooms, is ASM suites a shorter distance or are they far away, as well, not making any difference between the two resorts?

I've stayed at both resorts, and here is my take. An All Star Suite would give you 2 totally separate sleeping spaces. Plus 2 tvs, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchenette. In a room at CBR you would only have one sleeping space. One bathroom. One tv. No kitchen area. The suites at the All Star are all close to the main building and bus stop. In order to be guaranteed that at CBR you would have to pay for a preferred room, which is around $50 more a night than a standard room.

I think the All Stars win on bus service too. In my experience each All Star has it's own bus way more often than they share. So one stop, you hop on, and you are on your way. Depending on where you board at CBR you could have to sit through 6 more stops before leaving for the parks.

I also like the food choices much more at the All Stars. I think the only thing CBR has that is better is the pool area. No slides or hot tubs at the value resorts.
