Crazy ticket questions

Hi everyone! Last August 1st, my family and I went to UO and had a blast. Prior to the trip, I had bought 3 day passes at AAA for each of us. (Since I bought them from AAA, they were discounted.) We only used 2 days of them and the tickets expire 6 months from first use...we're planning on going in January before they expire in February.

Here's my question...can I use the extra day toward the purchase of a Power Pass? If so, would the value of the extra day be the cost of the ticket divided by 3?

We're planning on buying annual passes in January-I was just wondering if I could apply the extra day on our 3 day tickets. Thanks! :)

If the tickets haven't expired, you can upgrade them. You will just have to pay the difference in what you paid to the price of the annual pass. That info is in the barcode and Universal will access that. Power passes are only available for Florida residents.

That's no problem-we're Florida residents. Will it matter that we've used 2 out of the 3 days? I expect that we'd only get the value of the 3rd day since we already used 2 of them.

I think you are correct...you will probably only receive the value of the 3rd day towards the upgrade.

I think they just charge the difference from the entire ticket, not on a day by day basis. Your power pass may have to be activated from the first use of your first day though. So, that would be from last Aug. 1.

Hmm..ok, that gives me things to think about. I'm not sure I want to upgrade the ticket I have then because I'd lose almost 5 months of going.

Perhaps phamton knows the answer to this one for certain.
