Crazy prices for beach club

Most of the resellers have Twitter feeds that will send out new listings. Some do a once or twice a day list of all new postings, some will tweet out each individual listing.

There is also a site that will aggregate and show all contracts through multople sellers.

I currently own at VGF and AKV, and have always wanted BCV. I tried very hard to get my guide to put me on the beach club waitlist. He said it wasn't possible which is why I reluctantly offered full price for that small contract which fit my use year. And I almost missed it. I can see the prices climbing even higher in the near term at BCV and VGF until disney can do something about the demand.

Exactly what happened to me!!

We wanted to add 100 points to our VGF.

Guide said wait list was closed.

Saw two 50 point contracts on resale for our exact UY. Seller wanted $150 pp.

Offered full price. Went to ROFR on 7/31.

How do you get alerts when contracts come up? Where and how do you sign up?

We were able to snag a 100pt. BCV for $105/pt. by subscribing to the Twitter feeds. Knew that was what we wanted for an add-on with a more desirable UY than the one we have on our first contract.

Well it can't go up TOO much higher, or the prices will exceed direct, so I think we are done with the huge price increases until direct prices increase again.

I could see them raising the direct price of VGF soon, BLT is actually more expensive than VGF which doesn't make sense. That said, I heard from the rep when I was there last week that Poly wasn't selling as they expected. If that is the case I wouldn't expect them to raise the price, I'm actually hoping for a add-on bonus but we'll see...probably not happening but I'll still hope for it.
