Hi,

We are off to Disney on 26th July and apart from trying to fit all the parks in we would like to try some mini golf. Could someone tell me if there are some of these in disney and if so where about they are and are they worth a visit?

Thanks

Peter

There are two of them on Disney Properties one has a Fantasia Theme the other is winter I believe they are both near the water parks.

The one mentioned above, WinterSummerland has an awesome theme! We got a voucher for a free round last year and DH had a blast. It's really easy, but fun, especially if you've done everything else Disney and not the mini-golf. DH and my dad did the Fantasia course last Aug and said it was super hard! I guess even Tiger Woods had trouble on it! But they said if you like to golf and like a challenge, it is worth it!

There are 2 crazy golf places in WDW. Winter summerland is at Blizzard Beach. There are 2 18 hole courses on themed summer and the other winter. Both same difficulty I thought and we enjoyed these two courses. To get there get a bus from any resort to BB.

The other is a bit more difficult and has 1 18 hole crazy golf and 1 18 hole mini golf affair with bunkers, hills etc. The crazy golf here is Fantasia themed and was a little harder than the ones at BB. The Fairways (I think it is called) was very difficult and definitely would not recommend for kids. To get here from MK or AK take a bus to the Swan and ask for directions from there. From Epcot or DHS take a boat to the Swan and same. You do have to cross a road outside the Swan that was quite busy and it was maybe 10 mins walk from the Swan.

we've done both courses at the fantasia mini golf and had a lot of fun. the more whimsical course is like traditional mini golf but very well done with fun obstacles and music. the hard course is HARD (it was named the hardest mini golf course by Golf Digest magazine in the country!) it's basically a full difficulty standard golf course shrunk down in size. DH and I had fun but I would NOT do this with anyone who gets frustrated easily or children younger than the teen years.

Thanks for that. We will definitely check them out. Any idea of queues for the easier courses....start simple is my motto :goodvibes

Also how many $ can we expect to pay. myself, my wife to be (we get married day before we go to Disney) and my son (13).

Thanks again

Congratulations!

A round of miniature golf is $11.75/adult (that includes your son). At the end of the round, you receive a souvenir golf fall. There are incentives for 50% off the second round played in the same day (doesn't have to be right away, just keep your receipt).

If you've miniature golfed before, the Winterland/Summerland course might be a bit easy for you (thinking about your son). The Fantasia Gardens course is perfect for teenagers.

Winterland/Summerland will take you about an hour. Fantasia Gardens will be a little over an hour.

And if you want to still be married when you get back from your trip, don't take your bride to the Fairways course. We had two 25 year old male guests and they wanted to quit after the sixth hole! This one takes two hours (if you are lucky).

Disney spaces out the groups by giving tee times if needed. The most we had to wait was for the group in front of us to finish that hole.

dont forget if you bought a package there are discount cert included in there:cloud9:

We LOVE our mid-morning visit to Fantasia Gardens each trip. We laugh until we cannot stand it.

It's generally quiet - no lines - a great way to get away from crowds and just have fun.

If you are staying at an EPCOT resort....you can walk to it.

Go, have a BLAST!!!:thumbsup2
