Crazy Man!

DH saw a little news report last night that said Mother's Day comes in second place as far as the number of flowers purchased for a holiday. He then turned to me and said "I'm sorry you didn't get any flowers". I just burst into laughter. Saturday we bought 3 Gaillardia "goblin", 2 Althaea "zebrina", 3 Hosta "june", 2 white caladiums, 1 fern, 6 burpless cucumbers plants, and a UGA Bulldog stepping stone for my garden.

I'd much rather have the gift that keeps on giving than a one time gift that dies! Crazy man!!

I totally agree. I usually ask for a couple of perennials as a Mother's Day gift! It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Tiggerkeeper: I totaly agree. the best mothers day gifts i have received were plants for my garden. Each year when they come up its like receiving another gift. Susan
