My sister became a widow at 50 (he also passed in his sleep) and we lost my SIL last fall at 46...there are good days and bad days...hugs to you! You've done a wonderful job this past year! Your daughters are very lucky!

I'm so glad you posted because I think about you and how you're all doing. I lost my dad when I was 8 so I know something of what your DD's are feeling.

My dad passed away in his sleep of a heart attack when I was 8. My mother was faced with many challenges also. I will tell you that you are doing an amazing job. Your posts always bring me to tears because I can relate. I'm sure that your husband is very proud of you for being such a wonderful role model to your children. Heaven is a very real in my household, too. What a blessing you've given your girls to know where their Daddy is when they need him. The thought of death is so less final when they believe.

May God continue to carry you through. I agree, joy is a CHOICE. I choose it, too, because I have no choice.

Wow, I am in awe of you! To be able to still see the joy in your life and the positive side. Alot of people in your shoes would be negative and unable to cope (understandably so).

Someone else posted that you are an inspriration...and that is so true. I can't even imagine the amount of strength and courage that you have. Your princesses are lucky to have such a wonderful mom.
