Cranky MS Rep

Man...............we've been members since 2000 and have made many reservations..........and generally I'm pretty easy to get along with, I generally don't change ressies, and I don't consider myself a pain in the neck....

The whole issue is too long to describe, but I just need to vent.........But what a cranky rep.........If I was that cranky at my own job, I wouldn't have a job, working in a customer service based industry.........

Good point.........DJ...............Its just a major 'letdown'......I look for magic every time I call there.............Guess I'm spoiled by all of the great MS reps that I've spoken to.........

Did you call today? If so, those CMs are up to their eyeballs with people calling for the week between Christmas and NYE. Especially since it's a Monday and people need to book 3 days today and not just one. The CM I talked to was nice, but she was a little short with me. That didn't bother me at all since I knew she was in for a lonnnnnggggg day and she didn't have time to make nice small-talk.

I got a cranky one a couple of years ago. I just said: "Whoops, I have another call, I'll call you back" then hung up and redialed MS and got a normal (pleasant) CM.

Anyhow, thanks guys for advising as to the 'other side of the fence'.......didn't realize that today was the last day for booking 11 months out up to New Years.......and for banking Aug UY points......................

I called MS yesterday at around 11 am. It was tough getting through, but the CM was nice as usual. I've never run in to a nasty CM. I think I'd be floored if that happened.

My CM today was great! I finished my reservation for a BWV standard view studio and tomorrow I'm going for the coveted Grand Villa at OKW. We rented a GV 2 years ago and shared it with friends. We're doing the same thing this year and they will transfer points into our account when their use year rolls around. It's actually cheaper than 2 Preferred View 1 bedrooms at BWV.

It's times like these I'm glad I own at 2 resorts. Both fill a specific need/want. If I didn't have the 11 month window there would be no chance of me getting a Standard View for NYE or a Grand Villa at OKW during Adventure season.

I hear ya..........as I said, I'm the easiest person in the world to get along with, I don't complain about anything, I don't ask for anything other than a NS room.......I was borderline "sick to my stomach" after talking to this CM..........Not what I expected or had experienced in the past.........

Thanks to you all, I will be treating this as an Isolated incident and giving them the Benefit of the Doubt.......Thanks again for letting me vent....

Good thing I've never gotten a cranky CM - I'd be lost. I feel like such an idiot when I do my bookings (bank this/borrow that) that I'm always glad that I have such friendly and helpful CM's. The last ressie I made, she had to explain to me how I had to borrow points, bank points, use some of last years points and have some points left over because of our 2 home resorts - I wish she could have drawn me a picture!!
