Cranberry pork roast side dish suggestions?

I'm making a cranberry pork roast for Christmas does anyone have any side dish suggestions?

This is my DH's favorite holiday food. He asks for it at Thanksgiving and Christmas, both. It is a hit anytime I make it. I have had many people tell me they had never liked sweet potatoes before, but that they love this dish. It should go well with pork.

Festive Sweet Potatoes
3 cups sweet potatoes, mashed
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup milk

Topping:
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Boil or bake sweet potatoes and mash. Mix sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and milk with sweet potatoes. Put in 9 X 13 baking dish. For Topping: Mix ingredients together and sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes. Serves 10-12.

I like au gratin potatoes with pork .... and green beans.

I would serve it with an Au gratin type vegatable dish, and some nice chunky applesauce.
