Cranberry & Pineapple Continued.....Again.

I'm up early and awaiting my ride with Heidi. We are going shopping for the after Christmas sales. Not planning on buying anything but we shall see! LOL

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and Santa was good to them.

Well I have to say this Christmas did not seem like Christmas to us. Not just because of the stress of everything but also because we changed our tradition. We normally host everyone here but this year we went to my mom's house on Christmas Eve and saved Christmas for us. We all had a PJ day and did nothing what so ever. I think I took like 3 naps. I say that because I never really got a good one because someone would scream or talk loudly right about the time I was getting to sleep.

We did go our shopping or returning today. My mom bought Jeff the exact same shirt she bought him last year for Christmas. It is one of his favorite shirts though but he just did not need another one the same color. We took it back where my parents live but they only had white. Jeff can not wear white. So we took that back today and he was able to exchange it for a blue one. Then Erik took back a shirt my mom bought him. He just got the money back. We stopped by Best Buy and then to return Jeff's mom's present from Costco. I had lost the receipt but they have everything on their computers so we were able to get a refund.

I am starting to get very bored. Now if I were rich I am sure I could stay busy. I have tons of stuff I could do in the house but just too lazy to do it. lol

I am going to rearrange a bedroom next week. Jeff refuses to help me but the kids will help me. Jeff just does not see why they bed needs to be moved. However, since we are going to have probably have company sometime in February I want to make our guest room look like it has more room then it does. lol

Sandy and Heidi did you buy anything today?

We bought a few things but nothing really cool. We got up did some shopping, hooked up with the guys for breakfast and ended up doing more shopping with the guys. All in all it was a fun day with Heidi and Chris. A PJ Christmas is nice. We went to see The Morgans. For the life of me, I can't remember the full name. Loved it! We stayed and watched another movie with my brother and his family....Sherlock Holmes. Believe me, not my kind of movie.

Today will be a nice slow day. Going to our favorite restaurant and coming home to take down the Christmas tree. Really should go shopping with Ted and get him a Christmas present since we returned his yesterday. LOL

Sandy if you sign back on them me about Sherlock Holmes. MacKenzie is wanting to go see it tomorrow. I know nothing about the movie. I know it is about Sherlock Holmes but have not watched any commericals or trailers about it.

Selena, it just isn't my type of movie. It did not keep my interest from the beginning. But that's ME. I know my niece and nephew enjoyed it. Heidi and Ted slept. I didn't watch. I think Chris liked it. Don't laugh but a movie has to have plenty of color to keep me interested and this was always dark. Weird I know. I hadn't seen anything on it.

I honestly know nothing about the movie. In saying that I do not mean I do not know anything about Sherlock Holmes. I honestly did not even think once about going to see this movie but I asked MacKenzie what she wanted to see and this was one of the 3 that was mentioned. We are going with friends on Wednesday to see It's Complicated. She also wants to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. I would rather go see Alvin and the Chipmunks then Sherlock Homes.

I rate movies by how much I am willing to pay to see them. I rate Sherlock Holmes as a redbox movie for $1.08 and I do not know anything about it. lol Chipmunks I would rate as a cheap movie theater movie, probably the $1 movie theater. It's Complicated I am willing to pay the mantinee price of $6.50.

My favorite movies are Romantic Comedy and Action. I enjoy a drama but not my first choice. I do not like scary or violent movies at all. I did when I was younger but can not hardly watch them now that I am older.

My brother and family saw the Chipmunks before the Sherlock Holmes and said it wasn't as good as the first one. I want to see It's Complicated, too. I didn't even realize that there was a movie called Sherlock Holmes probably until 3 hours before we saw it. I know of "Sherlock Holmes" but even after the movie I still don't really know what he is about. We love Redbox. Denver was one of the trial cities for it.

Selena - I wouldn't rush out to see Sherlock Homes. To me it was so dragged on and boring! I have never fallen asleep in a movie and I did in this one. I did like Meet the Morgans even though I am not a big fan of Sara Jessica Parker and Hugh Grant.

Mom - I want to see It's Complicated too. Maybe we can watch that while Chris watches Avatar!

Now I find it funny that you say that, because this was my first thought of this movie. I even asked MacKenzie shortly after the movie started if it was hard to understand to her. I thought maybe it was the cheap movie theater we went to.

I can not say I did not like it but as Mac and I put it when we came out of the movie house that we found it interesting.

It is Dark. The whole worshipping the devil was dark.

I will not say I did not like it. I am very glad I did not spend more than $3 a piece to see the movie. I would have been disappointed if I had paid more.

I just got my Kohl's bill and it has a charge of 106.75 that I didn't make. Great......I don't feel like fighting. I called and also sent a letter. It said it's for a coffee maker and accessories. We don't drink coffee and I didn't buy anyone it for Christmas. I always pay my bill in full but will have to subtract that off while in dispute. I better not get charged interest after all is said and done!

Selena, I thought I was the only one that had a hard time understanding until after the movie and Heidi said she had trouble, too. How's things going?

Cristi, I read on FB that you aren't feeling well. Sorry!

Sandy that is crazy. You might want to have that card cancelled and have them re-issue a new card with new numbers. Surely they will have the signature to compare.

We were suppose to go It's Complicated tomorrow with some friends. BUT Mac's doctor's have yet to fill out my FMLA forms and they are due at my central office tomorrow. I called them today and then Jeff called back and they told me to call between 8-8:30 tomorrow. The doctor is suppose to be back tomorrow and sign the paperwork. I am hoping I can go over and get it and take it directly to my HR person from there.
Next one of the friends we were suppose to go with decided she was not coming home today and has told us we have to wait to see it now. I love her dearly but she is very spoiled and expects us to go around her schedule all the time. I think if the paperwork is done and we have time Mac and I might still go see the movie. I do not want to wait any longer. Plus I am unsure if I will have the time this week to go after tomorrow.

Selena - I hope you can go to the movie and enjoy the day today. If you go, let me know how the movie was and if it is worth seeing in the theatre. Do you know how long you are taking off from work? Talk about the doctor waiting for the last minutes...yikes, hope he makes it in today to get the paperwork signed. I have a friend just like that and sometimes it gets to be too much.

Sandy have you heard anything about the charge on your Kohl's card?

Heidi, I have filled out the paperwork to take off 6 days and also at any time in the next year dealing with anything to care for MacKenzie.

We did see It's Complicated. It was a cute movie but not sure if I think it is worth $6.50 at the matinee. Sorry I know I am very cheap. If it were just me I would say it was worth the price but having to pay for 2 people I did not think it was worth that much. lol

We saw Avatar last night IMAX 3D and it was a great movie. So worth the price we paid!
