Selena, what kind of bottles did you use when you made your lemoncello?

It is a plastic cheap container that we used to make it in and then I bought pretty bottles at a store to gift the Limoncello.

I will see if I still have pictures.

We never go home early because we always have a Pre-Thanksgiving Happy Hour for everyone who isn't traveling.

Yes that sound right. You can use any citron or citrus vodka we just used the Absolut because we bought it on the ship for the same price of one at home. Do you guys have an Aldi grocery store anywhere close? They have pineapple for as little as .99 and the most I have paid for it there is 1.99. You just put it in a large container and leave it for 21 days. You do not put it in the fridge. At 21 days you juice the pineapple. You do not puree it or anything like that. The concept is not to have pineapple in your pineapple vodka. So you will also need to strain the liquid once you have juiced the pineapple. We do not have a juicer. Jeff wears rubber gloves and used his hands to juice by hand.

You need to put the mixture in the fridge after this though. I shake mine in a martini shaker to make it icey cold. It is very good. This drink is not syrupy sweet. It is a nice good pineapple vodka. I do not mix it with anything.

Hey did I tell you we made a simple lemon syrup out of the lemons that were left over from the limoncello? You can make lemonade with this by adding water or a drink by adding vodka.

Try again. It took me 2 days to get mine. I thought the website was a bit confusing but I finally made mine.
