I am so happy. One of the organizations I work for surprised me with an award. They called me over saying they needed my help for an emergency, so I ran to their office quickly to find 15 people and a cake and a monetary award! They were thanking me for all my hard work.

It was suggested to me to take COQ10 for my migraines, but it is so expensive!!!!!! Many people say there are so many benefits from COQ10. I hope your blood work comes back better in October.

Wow I did not know it was good for that as well. You know I have migraines as well but I do not think I have them as frequently as you do. Yes it is expensive but I found a humdingger of a deal on the stuff. I am so thrifty. CVS (not sure if you have those out there) had it buy one get one free. Still it was 34.99 for two but that was great. On top of that I had to re-fill a prescription and I had just received a coupon in the mail for a tranferred prescription you get a $25 gift card to the store. Then I also had a $4 off coupon for any purchase of $25 or more. So I wound up getting the 2 bottles worth more than $70 with tax for a whopping total of 11.60. I was so happy!!!

I know it is good for your immune system.

Sandy, Happy late Birthday. Sorry I missed it. Had a lot on my mind yesterday. Mom did not call me to tell me Carrie had passed away until I was at work yesterday. She knew it the night before and did not think to tell me. She did call my brother though. For her benefit I have to say I have no clue when she found out and she knows I go to bed early. Not that the time has ever stopped my mom from calling me before.

The funeral was interesting. The preacher actually preached instead of doing a memorial service. I just kept on thinking .... what am I in church? Then I would think how awful I was for thinking that at Carrie's memorial service. When we got in the car to drive home I shared my thoughts with Jeff and he said he thought he was going to hell for thinking the same thoughts as I was thinking. He told me he thought maybe the devil was in him. Good ole Southern Baptist for ya.

Well Sandy, I could have gotten a better deal and was a bit upset at myself for not thinking of it. Actually that same day is the day I was out with Mac and I had taken her to the doctor. I knew I had those coupons but I thought the coupons were for a transferred script. When it really was for a new or transferred script. So, I could have taken Mac's antibotic script there and mine and used both of my coupons for the $25 gift cards. This would have given me $50 in GC. Plus there were coupons I could have printed for $1 off per bottle. I really could have gotten a lot better of a deal.

You have to really look at things. I am constantly looking for deals before I buy something. It pays to take 30 minutes and look online to save money.

Remember the budget board on here as well. It is a constant source of knowledge and great deals.

I pride myself of gettings things at a killer deal.

Yum!!!! How do they make it?

If you guys want that pineapple martini I have made them now at my house. The one I told you guys about from Firebird Grille.

You need citrus vodka. I purchased Absoult Citron while on the cruise for $24.95 for 2 fifths. We then went to Aldi and bought fresh pineapple. Jeff ahd to go online and figure out how to cut them. Then we took the vodka and poured it over the pineapple slices and chunks. At the 21 day mark you pour off the vodka into some container and then juice the pineapple. You mix that juice with the vodka. OMG it is so delici.

We bought the pineapple for 1.99 per pineapple. It was ungodly good too!!! Had to have a few bites. We bought 5 for that much vodka and it turned out perfect.
