Selena - LOVED the pictures, thanks for sharing! How sweet that Bryan sold his Harley for Kim's ring. Did you get to watch the proposal? I cannot believe you forgot your camera when you went to the beach, I would have loved to have seen the boardwalk! I love the picture of Mac and Cooper, and OMG, E has grown since the last pictures I have seen of him. Sounds like a blast, wish we had some tradition like that!

Critsti - Did you get to see them sewing the flag and restoring it? I loved watching them do that at the Smithsonian.

Thanks Cristi for ATTEMPTING to make me feel better about the heat. I know that humidity makes it 110% hotter and I should be happy with dry heat (or close there to). I would absolutely love to see some pics from your trip.

We always stay in the RV when we go up and it is OK. I never slept well away from home so the hard beds were fine. Saturday, Jeff drank too much so we had to put him down and Mac, Cooper and me were above the cab. Now that was interesting.

OMG I was typing away and the page went to ringtones. I am so ticked.

We have only been home 2 hours from Atlanta. We have been in a car over 28 hours since Friday. I hate cars right now.

The Braves game was awesome. Spent way too much money but I could not stop drinking wine. It was HOT!!! Our game was at 7:10PM and it was HOT HOT HOT.

Erik is a huge Chipper Jones fan. Last game we went to E did not see him play. This game not only did we see him play he had 3 RBI's!!! He is such a great over all player. Just average but he always comes thru. I guess that is why he had a 10 million dollar contact. Hernandez scored his first ever homerun in a ML game and I think it was McCann who had the other homerun.

I only got one picture. Traffic was awful and although we stayed in Buckhead about 10 minutes from the stadium it took us an hour to get there. I hate it because we did not have a lot of time. Enough to buy E a new shirt and cap and dinner. I still am in shock we spent so much money.

On the way home today we stopped at a couple of outlets. We went to the Ralph Lauren store, Pacsun and Gap. I love Gap. I like that I can squeeze my fat body into a smaller size there.

Now that life is going to get normal next week I am going to be able to lose my weight.

Hope everyone had a great Independence Day.

I booked my Atlantis excursion by booking a room at the Comfort Suites. The price went up on me but I remembered we have an AAA membership so I was able to get the price back down by $30.

I also reserved the hotel in which we will stay on the drive down. We normally go to Jacksonville or Daytona. Since it is going to be night time when we are driving and it will only be Mac and me we are going to stay on the other side of Jacksonville in Baymeadows area. It is better to stay on the further side of Jax closer to PC due to the always ongoing road work.

I am getting excited but I also know when the cruise is over I will have to go back to work. I truly love my job but I hate the way those people act. I want to go back to my school and I want to have my job. Is it wrong that I just wish those people were nice and easy to work with? I really am dreading going back and I have 40 some days to go back to work. lol

We are going to my friend's pool tomorrow then we are going to cook lunch. I am making a greek salad and a cucumber, onion and tomato salad. I also am making the beverages. I have to stop off at the store on the way so I can buy some soda water. I think I am making me vodka, soda water and cranberry. I am making Orange Crushes for my friends.

One of my best friends is originally from Parsippany; I partied there many times in HS. Gotta love Taylor Ham (or 'pork roll' as most NJ natives call it)!

Had friends in town Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. BBQ'd and went to the Rockies game (waited out the rain delay with a couple of Guinness' at Fado). Yesterday was recovery day.

Yes, I am going back with around 8 of the 11 girls that went last time, on July 24th for 3 nights. I am so excited.

I had a really quiet 4th, Aerial was gone so I spent my time cleaning and relaxing, I really needed it.

Selena - Glad your cruise is coming together!!!! Sounds like the Braves game was fun. Your lunch you made sounded yummy. I love greek salad. A few years back, you posted a website where they made something with everclear, lemons and sugar. Do you happen to have that site bookmarked?

Marcie - where are you going to stay in Vegas this time?

Had a good weekend but was wet! I did go down to the campground with my parents. Most of the weekend was crazy, but we did have a couple of moments that were relaxing. I rented some movies, went on a shopping spree, and spent time with the family. Tomorrow Chris's niece is flying out to visit us for a week so I will be busy cleaning and doing laundry tonight!

I do have that recipe somewhere bookmarked but I can not find it on the desktop. It must be on one of the laptops. I did a search and could not find the exact one I use. If you do a search for Lemoncello recipe you will find dozens of them. Bascially they are all the same. We did use Everclear and not Vodka. The trick is using at leat 100 proof alcohol. It is a involved process to make. Not hard really just involved due to the fact you must soak the rind of the lemon for many days. You will have to have a great vegatable peeler. By great I mean sharp. We bought 2 from Walmart and the one that I bought works the best. Below is a picture of mine.

Don't know. Last year we were going to but then Alex's teen group get together at church was cancelled. If it isn't this year, we'd end up being able to go only for a little while between dropping him off and picking him up.
