Cranberry & Pineapple Continued.....Again.

We are back from DC. I haven't read all of the posts. Just wanted to check in. I am tired. That is a lot of walking and it was hot!!

Welcome back Cristi. Besides the walking and weather, how did you enjoy it? What was your favorite thing you did?

It was a lot of fun. I was in awe standing in front of the flag that was the inspiration for Star Spangled Banner. That was pretty amazing. I think the day the kids enjoyed the most is when we went to Williamsburg and went to Busch Gardens. Jacob seemed to be bored on this trip. I will post some pictures and a little trip report later. I have to head off for a dr appt and then run some errands.

Yay, Cristi is home. Can't wait to hear all about the trip. The flag tidbit gave me the goosebumps. That would be cool!

That is so funny because I did not even know I was on aim. Sometime ago I guess I sign in someway to where it will always be on until I sign off. I heard a door shut and I was shocked. I signed out.

Yes we are back and had a wonderful time. Both kids wound up going with us. Saturday we had so much food it has to be some law against it. lol We had hamburgers, hotdogs, ribs and of course the Blue Crabs. Then she had a shrimp dip, a fiesta dip and a cheese roll, 5 different type of salads and 2 different kinds of deserts. OMG it was awesome.

Sunday we went to Ocean City. Not to go to the beach but to walk the boardwalk. My family has never gone to a beach that has all the shops on a boardwalk right on the beach before. I have but they have not.

I gained 2lbs. Yikes. I have to get serious again on my diet.

Tomorrow we leave for Atlanta to see the Braves play Philly. We have seen them play the Phillys before. But this was the only time we could go.

I have 7-8 mosquito bites. One is huge and nasty. It is on my left top part of my arm but underneath. Everytime I cross my arms I hit it and make it itch The others are a bit more under control. Thank goodness.

Parker is a very hyper doggie and belongs to Bryan and Kim which is Bonnie and Richard's son and his finance

And our Cooper LOOK at home big he is already

All pictures were made on Saturday. Cassie was attacked by a dog that belongs to a neighbor a few months ago and she is very lucky to be alive. This made her a bit anxiety to be around Kayla but with Jeff's help they were able to have a good time together.

Now Parker drove them all crazy but Kayla just ignore him and Cassy was showing him who is boss while poor Cooper could not take the rough play

I wanted to set up the next set of pictures by saying that during our stay Bryan asked his GF, Kim, to marry him.

Kim is one of the sweetest girls I have met. She is so perfect on the inside and out. She has the patiences of Job. Bryan is a lot like Jeff. She asked me something about Jeff calming down or something and I had to tell her I have been married to the man 17 years and he is still the same. She said well at least I know I have that going for me. lol

They are truly a lovely couple.

Kim's engagement ring is 1.7 CT Princess Cut and is lovely. This picture is nice but does not come close to doing this ring justice.

Bryan sold his Harley to buy her a ring.

Kathy is in her later 20's but a little younger than Bryan. She lived in NC for a while and still has her family here but she is from more of the costal region.

Kathy also went on the cruise with us in November and was Bonnie's roomie.

Mac has this puppy so spoiled it is just horrible. He really was great there but it also allowed us to see just how rotten he is. However, Little Coup learned he likes his independance a lot. It was so funny to see him running after Cassie and someone going up or down the 3 steps into their house. But if he was with Mac he would not go up or down the stairs. He would whine and she would pick him up and carry him down.

This is a very tired Kim on Sunday after coming back from Ocean City. Would you believe I forgot my camera when we went to the beach?

These shirts are from Kim's new landscaping business. They brought us some down and Sunday it got a bit chilly and these shirts were warmer than what I had brought with me.

This was the Second Annual Crabfest in Maryland. We had a great time. Having Roe and Jack join us this year was very special. She said they will come every year for now on. Also the engagement of Bryan and Kim was wonderful. I am so glad that he asked her while we were up. I already miss everyone.

In October on the cruise Roe and Jack and another couple from the November cruise is going, Ruth and Richard. Jack and Richard were policeman together in NJ.

Jrsy, Kim and Tammy are from Jersey too.
