Pooh~ I SWEAR you really are my #1 friend! You've got my back covered!!! Yes, we would all stick out with lime green shirts!!!! That WOULD be so funny! What a way to meet & greet!!! Everybody on the ship would be saying "Who are all those people with the lime green t-shirts?" Another one would answer "Oh, thats just the Alcoholic Taste Testers!" I bet you everyone would want a lime green t-shirt by the time that cruise was over!!! We are going to have a blast!!!!

Pooh & Jiminy ~ Just realized another thing we have in common (aside from our taste in rums....) I used to live in Longmont, Colorado. So did my sister (Heidi) but now she lives in Lincoln, Nebraska and I am here in Florida.

Hi guys. I did not post here yesterday. I did scan and post elsewhere though.
Sandy, not sure if you saw my reply. No I do not teach. I do work in a High School though. I test kids. That may sound like a nothing job, but it goes beyond testing. I have to keep the database up to date on who needs testing. In NC kids have to pass certain tests to graduate and if they do not pass them when they are given the first test in 8th grade we have to test them in HS until they pass. So I am pretty busy at the first of the year getting the database going. Then we start testing in October and finish the last day of school. Then I am also in charge of graduation. So I am really nuts at the end of the year.

I bought the Mickey cooler that was on a thread last week. The one with the wheels on it. I am going to take it. I have never taken alcohol on board before. Dh thinks I am nuts to suggest it. I am not sure if we will or not. BUT, I plan on using these receipes out anyway. LOL

I cheated on my diet for 4 days. I am trying to be good now. I am still walking though. I mantained my weight so I feel ok with that. I really would like to lose another 4-6 lbs. That way when we do cruise in September I can gain 5 lbs and still be at the weight I like to be at. LOL

Oh I bought some lime today to try in my rum and diet coke.

I say we go for the lime green shirts and have the cranberry or pineapple printed on the front. Maybe on the back...Got juice? We need to have a pineapple somewhere. Oh that can be a hollowed out pineapple with our rum drinks in them that we are carrying around. We need the orange and cherry on a sword and a umbrella to top it with.

Jsme~ That was funny! "Got Juice?" Great idea!!!! I have all the adult people in our families bringing collapsable coolers so they can be responsible for their own drinks and I only have to worry about myself!!!!

Heidi, thanks for the congrats. For all of you that are wondering, I met my weight loss goal today. I lost 58 pounds. But, on the down side of it I will gain it all back with the "beverages" that I will be drinking on board.

Guys I am serious when do you normally cruise? I am pretty limited to when I can because of my job. We normally go during my fall break. Which use to be in October but is now is November. Jersey Week to be exact. We have a cruise planned in November 2006 for 4 days on the Wonder. I have been thinking about changing it to the 7 day Magic. I think all of you should look into it.

We can do signs and shirts..............LOL
Oh I ordered one of those Mickey Coolers from Disneydirect.com. It is due to come today. I can see us all in our lime green shirts....got juice on the back, jucied up upper lips and all of us with our little red Mickey cooler at Quiet Cove. Wonder if we could make it back to our rooms??????????? I think we had better eat lots of food to keep the alcohol levels down in our bodies. I can see us all on the lounge chairs with a huge smile on our faces.........

Selena we seem to cruise in October, but I can go anytime!! I have cruised on DCL in January, May, September and October. I think we should try and get a cruise together, I have been looking for a reason to get back on that ship since my mom ditched me and left me for the Panama Canal Cruise!!! Some other Disers that we are good friends with are going I think in Oct 2006 for the double dip to Castaway Cay. We were also thinking of April of 2007, not sure if that has fallen through or not. Hmmmm, something to think about.

Selena, I so want to meet all of you on this thread. Who would know that a juice thread would make friends. It would be fun to meet up. One of our DISfriends is trying for the Walt suite again for 2007 so our date is still up in the air. The last time we sailed she had the Walt suite and it was the best cruise we have ever had. She was a very gracious host. She considered her suite, our suite. Now with your vision of the cruise I am thinking I need to lose MORE weight. FOOD and ALCOHOL, oh my.

This is what we have planned right now.

3 day Wonder September 1, 2005
4 day Wonder November, 5 2006

I am thinking about changing the 4 day to a 7 day on November 4, 2006.
I am thinking we will need two cabins since the kids will be with us in November. We normally get 1 Cat 6. But you know we are getting older and would like our privacy a little more now they are older too. Therefore, I would have to go with a lower cat.

I am pretty locked into when I can and can not go on a cruise. I have to go during my fall break or spring break. I think I would prefer the fall break. We have always cruised late summer to early fall. Not too sure about the spring.

Then I have also thought about going on the new RCCL Freedom. Oh my goodness....it looks heavenly. It leaves out of Miami. Only thing, I feel like my kids need at least one more DCL before we decide on the RCCL Freedom. My DH is actually acting like he is tired of cruising. He must be nuts!!

I have tried to talk a group of friends into going on a 3-5 day cruise next summer, but all I hear is how they can not afford it. I tell them we can go cheap. I do not care. Of course they will not even consider DCL. They think I am nuts.

Sandy, wow the Walt Sutie. Man if I could be sick for a week at work I would go with you guys and hope you would include me in your group.
