I am sure we both will be able to tell who is who. Hopefully we will all get to meet. I am trying to make up signs for our doors and the day of the cruise out 2 families will be wearing matching red t-shirts. So, you will see me!!! I even have a matching reunion t-shirt for my grandbaby!! She is 4. She will have a ball.... already talking about the "Mickey Ship!!!" Hope yo meet you and your mom! Karen

Selena, I joined Curves a couple of years ago but found their hours kind of crazy for me. I really enjoyed it though. All this talk of drinks make me want to try them all and I don't think LA Weight Loss would like that.

Wow...that is funny that you mentioned Sheridan's.....we just bought a bottle (I had never heard of it before) in St. Thomas earlier in the month (we were on a Carnival cruise). It was delicious and I love that really cool bottle!! Onboard they had a liquor sampling and we loved the Sheridan's and another liquor (sp) called Amarula from South Africa...made from the fruit of the Marula or Elephant tree.....that was awesome as well!!!

I *love* Curves! I have been going for almost 2 years and it's the only thing I've ever stuck with. Granted, I still skip a few days here and there, but I *always* come back! I do the diet classes, too, which really kicked my tush in gear. I love the staff there and I love the decorations and motivational things they do for us. I really need that kind of thing! I lost the most weight in the 6 week challenge and I won a two night stay at a hotel! Plus, t shirts, socks, makeup bag, etc.

Also, the diet really works! My instructor suggested adding Bailey's to their shake mix! (lol) and I *love* that!

My mom has recently lost 120 lbs but doesn't exercise. I've been trying to talk her into trying Curves. I have all these coupons from Avon to "try Curves for 2 weeks free" and she won't go!

Anyway, the drink recipes sound absolutely delicious! Wow!

Jsme, I love Curves too and like you, it is the only thing I have stuck with. I DO need to get back into the swing of things though.I really love the support and encouragement from there.

I tried winning a milk promotion with Curves and entered every day for 24 days or something... however, I did not win. It is worth the money though and I will not think twice about signing up for another year in Nov.

I second that!!! That would be such a fun cruise!! I am sure the ship would lose money though due to all of us bringing our own alcohol!!!

Selena, you are too funny. I would love to meet up with you on a cruise. We have met several friends off this board that we now cruise with and go to WDW with. In fact, this is our 4th cruise with them. I honestly don't think that I have ever had closer friends than these people. In fact, when my FIL passed away, 8 families got together and sent us a huge bouquet of flowers. But.......can you imagine with this group of friends on this thread and cruising together?? Disney would have to roll us away from Signals and the pool. We would all want to be trying the drinks we all are craving here....and well, you know what the end of that would be.

Lululovesdisney, I can't imagine losing 120 pounds. My hat is off to your mom. I need Curves desperately again. With 55 pounds off and old skin, I am wrinkly and icky. I need to firm up. I didn't excercise either during weight loss.

I had another brillant idea. I know, that sounds pretty scary? Does the drink station have fruit punch on the soda fountain. Like Hawaiin punch or something? Ohhhhh, how good would that be? They have sprite I believe. I wouldn't even need to look for anything else.

They have Sprite at the drink station, but they do not have fruit punch. They do have fruit punch (or atleast they use to) at Topsiders.

They do have ice tea and lemonade that I am sure you can mix with.

Mmouse!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOO glad you are reading this!!! I am trying to find out about that Sheridan's. I have never had it, I just have heard of it. I also heard it is very hard to get a hold of. Do you remember how much it was? Is it good? Can you get it all over on these islands? What about on the ship? I was on a Carnival Cruise with my mom Nov of 2003. I am TRYING to find someone who may have bought the video. We were seen on the video and now that my mom has passed away, I have been frantically trying to get a copy of the 2003 Fantasy Cruise. I KNEW I should have purchased it then and have NO idea why I didn't. Anyway,sorry for all the questions. I just really want to get some of that Sheridans!!! I will take a pic of the bottle and post it here......but in the meantime we bought it at Al Cohen's Discount Liquors in St. Thomas across the street from the Havensight Mall where DCL usually docks (when they don't have to tender). I believe it was $18.00, no more than $20.00 tops. It was also being sold in many of the liquor shops at the Havensight Mall. You could buy it on Carnival but I have never seen it on all my DCL trips...though I was never really looking for it either....just so happened that the Carnival Legend was holding a liquor tasting in their gift shop and you could sample several types of liquor and I loved the Sheridan's.....the bottle is actually two separate pieces and there are two small holes in the cap that each of the light and dark liquors come out and mix in the glass....it comes out layered with the dark liquor on the bottom and the cream liquor on top.

The label says it is from Dublin....Thomas Sheridan & Sons, Nangor Rod, Dublin 12, Ireland.

DCL used to have a "minibar" in the all the cabins with items for purchase (like most hotels do) but soon discontinued it. The result, each cabin has a mini-beverage cooler in them....not quite as cold as a fridge but sufficient enough to cool down drinks. It is the size of a dorm size fridge.

Hi guys, I got my answer from someone on the ship now. I posted the question on a "Live" thread. Here is the answer: I did check earlier and they have Hi C Fruit Punch at Drink station and at Topsiders. Orange Juice & Apple juice also at Topsiders. ~ Bethany
Guess I will experiment with fruit punch, sprite and Malibu rum.
