Good morning all. Just checking to see if Heidi posted yet. It is too early to call her to see if she made it to work. She had a bad migraine which led to vomiting last night.

Hey all, I'm home sick today, too. Lousy cough and congestion. Every time I try to talk I lose it. My sympathy to fellow sickies.

I come and lurk here occasionally. I'm getting a charge out of the Cosmo, Sammy stuff. Both my sons are allowed to take a stuffed animal on trips. The boys always used to take their teddy bears, Rusty and Chester. Rusty and Chester had been found having swim parties and wine parties on our return to our room at Dixie Landings, and were even reading Gideon's one day. On a later trip to WDW, Rusty was somehow bundled into the bed clothes and went to the big laundry in the sky at WDW. Rusty, a.k.a. "Ucky" due to his tattered, matted appearance was easily identifiable. Despite photos and weeks of the caring help from WDW lost and found, he was never recovered. My ds, then about 4, was inconsolable. Santa brought him a new teddy, but ds has never transferred his affections to him. He now sleeps with a different toy every night, and always takes one of the less loved ones on a trip. Chester also stays home since older son fears losing him. We have an ongoing joke about Rusty living at WDW and riding the rides late at night when no one can see. When ds is tired, he still gets VERY upset about the whole incident.

So just make sure if Cosmo and Sammy over-indulge they don't get lost in the bed sheets.

That is exactly why I am on here posting, daytime TV sucks. I am so bored, but enjoying my lunch of saltine crackers and Ginger ale. Jrsy, I am just like you....I never call into work sick, but at least my coworkers know that I am not faking when I due call in!!!! It was a miserable night last night, I hate throwing up...I haven't been this miserable in a long time. I called my mom and asked her to bring my crackers and saltines last night because Chris was still at school, thank goodness for mommy's and daddy's...they always make you feel better.

Chris left for the airport about an hour ago, I hope he has fun!!!!!

Thanks again for dropping that stuff off last night mom.

Selena - Sammy is hilarious, and has good taste in liquor!!!

I just got back from helping at the kids school and they also had an awards ceremony. I got to see DD get her award for straight A's. She was one of only 5 in all of 4th grade. I'm so proud of her!

It's funny, whenever we go to visit my brother and DH sits on the couch Frankie(the cat) immediately jumps on his lap and crashes. I think he is waiting for the beer.

I don't actually have any mickey antenna toppers. I think I should get one. Everytime I seem them around here I wonder if it is you or Heidi though. Especially if I see them in the parking lot of Arrow.

Believe me, the way I was feeling, I wasn't stalking anyone. I wasn't throwing up, either, but it sounds like she has what DS had on Sunday. Woke up at 1:30am and barfed in his wastebasket, which we were grateful for since he usually just hits the carpet. (I need a little barfing smilie here)

Jrsy, Heidi, Carla I hope you all feel better soon. My DD has been battling her asthma this week. It's been a long time since she was breathing this bad.

I have something to share. Our hurricane deadline was Tuesday. We made it through. Well by yesterday I was so very physically and mentally tired I felt like crying instead of working. I went to bed after Idol last night and I'm still pretty tired today. Anyway, I talked to my DH on the way to work this morning and told him how I wished I could have a day off to rest. I was whining LOL. Okay so I walk into my office and on my desk is this paper folded up and on the inside it says:

There once was a storm came our way
(And our deadlines increased, by the way)
Though we didn't expect it
We didn't neglect it
And now we're rewarded - HOORAY!

And taped to the paper was a $50 gift card to Texas Roadhouse. I get to have a good meal. My boss is very good about rewarding us when we work hard. It was just so funny how it was really when I needed it. It gave me the boost to get through another very tiring day. Gotta love tax season.

Okay I am going home now to watch Idol and go to bed again. I'll be on here sometime tonight I'm sure

Oh great, I was just watching the 4:00 news and found out that someone stole a laptop computer from Stacey and Heidi's college. It contained 93,000 students names and social security numbers and they are alerting everyone to identity theft. Wonderful......what next?
