Lulu, I love your trip report. It was almost like being there. Don't you just love the mango soup and the creme brulee. They have to be a couple of my very favorites, next to the choc souffle! I love that you had a Polish server and your BF speaks it fluently. How cool!

LuLu - The first day sounded like a lot of fun. That is so cool that your bf could speak to the server in his language!!!! What I do with a hair dryer is that I bring my own and then plug it in behind the TV. I can't dry my hair with theirs because my hair is way too long and thick that it would never dry in time. I would be spending hours just drying my hair!!!! I love your reports, it helps me get my cruise fix!!!! I hope you are feeling better.

Selena - those braids and straws are soooo cool. The straws are perfect for DCL and the free soda machines at night!!!!

Mom - we defintely have to get the straws...wanna go half?

Marcie - ya that was the little boy. His name is Elijah. I watched him last night and came home exhausted. I was too tired to eat, but my boyfriend made me eat and then I went straight to bed!!!!

Sure Heidi, I will go half. I think they would be so fun. We always grab a drink at the drink station at night. One more thing, Jeanne just asked if we would mind if a co-worker and her husband ate dinner with us on the 10 day. I told her the more the merrier.

Hi Monkeys! I love flip flops, and blinking ones wow that is too cool.

After a very busy long day I am ready to read the next part of Lulu's trip.

I had put a bunch of pictures on my computer set up as my desktop where it radomly picks a picture every hour. When I got home today I was looking at a picture of my DD & DH in the Promanade Loung playing Bingo and you can see the water through the portholes. What a relaxing sight.

Selena - those sunglasses are wild!!!! I have 2 pairs of light-up, blinking flip flops. They are always a hit on the ship....especially if you dance because they continue to light up with every step!!!!! I have a lime green pair and a purple pair. I got them at Walmart for like $4.00.

Marcie - I have the same thing set up on my computer at work with many many pictures of the DCL and some other scenic pictures. I love to look at them, it helps my day!!!

Karen - Yuck quiche!!!!! I am getting better at eating it though!!!!

Mom - Wow, 9 people at our table...it will be a repeat of the last cruise. Maybe Micho will be back, oh wait he is on the Magic I forgot we are going on the Wonder.

Morning all. It is going to be chilly today with the high in the 40's. Actually, that is the normal temp this time of year. We have just been spoiled with the 60's.

I own those blinking flip flops as well. I haven't brought them on the cruise yet. I hit Walmart with clearance last year. Thanks for all the links, Selena.

Karen, our grandbabies are getting so big. They are now 7 months. Poor little Tyler is getting sick again. He was sick on Christmas and now again. Bless his heart. Little Joey is getting two teeth. It was cute last night. We were all sitting around the table and Joey quietly said "hi". I don't know if she knew what she said but it was so cute. I guess she says it a lot. No, I don't watch House. Sorry!!

Hey funkey monkeys! I haven't posted on the thread in months probably, but here is a drink you might like

Banana Bender/Painkiller

The base juice is 4 parts pineapple juice, 1 part orange juice and one part CoCo Lopez.

Now if you want a painkiller, mix with this juice a good dark rum. If you want a banana bender, then mix this juice with Cruzan banana rum.

Don't forget the fresh grated nutmeg on the top.

Now close your eyes, put some Buffett on the jukebox, sit back, relax and wish you were me!!

We had this drink (banana bender) on the Doubloon Sail and Snorkle in St. Thomas last month. It was really yummy.......

Hi everyone, I am eating lunch so I just thought I would pop on and see what was going on. I have a friend who is very much into fashion and would love to be a personal shopper and she asked me today if I wanted her to go check out shoes and formals for me. She is going to go look at the formal I tried on last weekend and see if she can find some shoes to match. Maybe she will find me something cool.

Karen, the babies only live about 10 minutes away. Went shopping today at the Kohls clearance rack. I didn't get anything but the babies did. Heidi, should have been with me. Our Dillards is still not open from the hurricane. Here or at the mall about 30 minutes from here. Well the men's Dillards is open 30 minutes from here but the women's isnt yet. What is a girl to do with out Dillards. We did get a Kohl's recently and I still haven't made it over there. But my friend, the shopper, she says I have to go there, that's one stop she is going this weekend.
