They had that mixology on the Panama Canal cruise. Our friends, the Disney Dudettes, did it. They absolutely loved it!!!! Hmmmm, maybe we should do it. Ted and I did an appetizer thing. The food was good but the class was well, ho hum, boring.

My cat is very sick. He is at the vet. His liver is not working properly. They know it is not leukima or kittyaids. Now I have to call back at lunch time tomorrow to see the results of some blood work they had to send out. Everyone please keep Sasha in your mind. He is E's cat and we all love him so much.

Oh Selena, I am sorry to hear about E' cat. I hope everything is okay. We just had to bring our dog to the vet on Friday and she had to spend the night and have doggy "surgery". A little poodle bit my dog twice and she had to get 10 stitches, I hate that poodle. I was so worried while she was at the vet and spending the night there, but the staff fell in love with her so she got extra special attention. $500 late she will get the stitches out in about 8 days and the family with the poodle has now moved, thank god.

Marcie - I want to do the mixology...I am definitely going to look for that on the navigator when I get there. WE have 98 days before we leave, finally down to double digits!!

WARNING VENT:
I am so angry right now that I could scream. Back in April, my agency had a huge reorganization where we had to set up our personnel and payroll systems, make amendment forms for the position descriptions, initiate and sign all the realignment actions and a bunch of other things that me and someone else was in charge of. The 2 of us worked our butts off for 2 weeks and stayed late many times while the other specialists I work with didn't do anything with the reorganization and they just continued with their normal jobs. A week after the reorganization was completed, the other specialists (and me and the other person as well) were all in charge of stapling the amendment forms to the PD's for the organizations we service. Today awards came out and all of the specialists (including me and the other person who was solely in charge of everything) all got the same amount of awards. WTH, how can someone who stapled on a piece of paper (that hasn't even been done, no one has done it yet) get the same amount of an award as someone who worked for 2 weeks solely on this project. I am so ready to go home!!!!

I am not religious but about a year ago my calculator would mysteriously display 666. I have to admit that kinda freaked me out, until it decide to be stuck on 111 and display that.

Ya, the lady that distributed them didn't even know who the other specialists were when she passed out the awards....the only people she knew was Johhnye and I. Ugh, maybe because that is the only people that actually worked on it!!! Oh well, at least I have extra spending money for my Disney trip!!!

We still do not know what is going on with Sasha. The blood work did not come back today. His liver is still not working. He is still on IV's and they had to force him to eat this morning. We are to call back tomorrow morning.

Jrsy you are too much. But for the record I honestly did not feel left out.

Chris started school last night after 3 weeks break and he is gone most of the night. It was weird because we usally are always together...but I did get a lot of cleaning done!!

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. My brother, sister-in-law and nephew came into town Friday afternoon and then we had Jacob's b'day party all afternoon on Saturday. 3 1/2 hours is a LONG time!!!! We had rented a jumping castle, then we grilled hot dogs, decorated t-shirts and had a pinata. After that was all said and done, my parents stayed for dinner and we discussed out upcoming family WDW trip in August. They left around 830 or 9 pm and then we decided to make margaritas. I have decided that I am entirely too old to be staying up drininking until 2:30am. I actually probably stopped drinking closer to 1 or 130, but then my brother and I stayed up talking later than DH and DSIL. Sunday I was really tired all day!!! I think I have finally recovered. Now, it is time for the Girl Scout Unit camping trip this weekend. There will be 55 people there. With about 42 or so being girls and the rest adults. Wish me luck!

Okay Ladies, now that June is here, we need to figure out if we're going to be able to meet again before Cosmo needs to be shipped to Marcie in time for the July 3rd Astros game. Assuming the very latest we can ship him would be Monday, June 26, that leaves us (not counting tomorrow due to short notice) only 3 Fridays or Saturdays. I'll just state up-front that Saturday, 06/10 is already out for me.

So...interest? conflicts? excuses?

Wow, that means I have about 4 weeks until I am watching Lance Berkman with Cosmo!!! Too bad they aren't winning too many games this year. I'm going to try to bring Cosmo to Kemah too while I have him.
