Marcie, I have never been a runner and never will be. I have no stamina. Period
Marcie - that is great you are doing so good on your training. I think I am never going to get good at Yoga on the Wii, I am just not that steady. My friend and I did the Billiards on the Wii and it was near impossible to finish the game, it took us forever and we totally sucked at it!

Oh gosh Selena. Thanks so much for your help! I know I have a borderline thyroid problem plus my age. It is so hard to keep motivated at .4 lbs!
Just found a Biggest Loser recipe that I think I will try:
BUFFALO CHICKENBLUE CHEESE MEAT LOAF
I don't think a single season of The Biggest Loser has gone by without some of the contestants complaining that they miss their chicken wings. At first I created a lighter buffalo wing plate with the typical wings, carrot sticks, celery sticks, and blue cheese dressingjust like you'd get at the local bar. But then I realized that the components would be excellent if turned into a meat loaf. So here it is. Just be cautious of wing sauces with too much sodium. The brands with less sodium often have a bit more fat, but since you tend to use such a small amount, they're generally a better choice. And look for a thick, all-natural sauce; I like to use Wing-Time Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce.
Olive oil spray
2⁄3 cup old-fashioned oats
1⁄2 cup fat-free milk
2½ tablespoons buffalo wing sauce, or more to taste
1 pound extra-lean ground chicken breast
1⁄2 cup finely chopped celery
1⁄4 cup shredded carrot
1⁄4 cup finely chopped sweet onion
2 large egg whites, lightly beaten
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
2 ounces (about 1⁄2 cup) crumbled reduced-fat blue cheese
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly mist a 9×5×3-inch (slightly smaller is okay) nonstick loaf pan with the olive oil spray.
Combine the oats and milk in a medium mixing bowl and stir to mix.
Let stand for 3 minutes, or until the oats begin to soften. Stir in the wing sauce until well mixed. Add the chicken, celery, carrot, onion, egg whites, and salt. With a fork or clean hands, mix the ingredients well. Add the blue cheese and gently mix to combine.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and spread so that the top is flat. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the chicken is completely cooked through and no longer pink. Cut into 8 slices and serve immediately.

Selena - thanks for the links. I would love to try the balsamic chicken recipe but Chris hates mushrooms. Guess I will make it when he is gone some time!
It's right on schedule, except the 4 days I didn't train at all for being sick. I did my longest run so far this week, it wasn't majorly hard and I was proud. I ran straight for 20 minutes. In 5 days from now it will go up to 25 minutes straight run. I've been running every other day and doing the wii every other day. I do yoga and then alternate between aerobics & strengthing. I can see a big difference in my hips from the yoga.Tonight is a combo run/walk.
Aerial and I played wii play last night. I think I was quite comical playing billards. Good thing she was the only one watching, she enjoyed it quite a bit.

Tammy is really good at the yoga; she has great balance. Now I want to play billiards against you guys because I totally rock it. I think I have a platinum medal.I think I am never going to get good at Yoga on the Wii, I am just not that steady. The problem is there isn't enough oxygen around here. If you went and tried to run at sea level, you could probably do a marathon.Marcie, I have never been a runner and never will be. I have no stamina. Period
Alex has the same problem and nothing I tell him sinks in.Well we played 3 games but I didn't win any. I have no idea how Aerial can make the stick hit the ball everytime.![]()

I don't think there is any maybe about it; it took me forever to break 200 on bowling and reach Pro Status. I just can't seem to get in a rhythm on that game! My best game on Wii Sports is probably golf.Jrsy, I could maybe take you on with Wii bowling. I am good at that.
As far as I know, she has never taken yoga, but she does Pilates so she has a strong core and good balance. At this point, Alex has unlocked more things on MK than I can count - characters, vehicles, mirror mode and even his Mii. Of course he can sit and play it for hours on end and I'm done after two races.Jrsy - Has Tammy taken Yoga before the Wii? I hope one day I will be able to do it!
I love cheeseburgers and could go for one now!!!! If I could, I would have one pattie and 4 cheeses! I am so addicted to cheese.
I am good at baseball and bowling and can beat Chris everytime. Opposite with Tennis! Then the girls think they can beat me at mario kart because they have MK on their DS....WRONG, they don't get it that I have played Mario Kart growing up and I can whoop up on them!
No. Only one Fit can be synched to your Wii at a time.Stupid question but can you use two Wii fits at the same time?
Wait until next time you have an out of town business trip. You'll come home to find that Chris has unlocked everything for his character, but hasn't slept at all.Jrsy - We have a problem with unlocking items in Mario Kart because we never play single player!
