I just read in the newspaper that one of the teams in Amazing Race is from Denver. It is the mother - son team. He is deaf. The show starts this Sunday.

I am working in the main office for the next 2 days. I am so going to miss my own office.

Selena - I am guessing you won't be able to post when working in the main office? Every other week we have a designated day we have to sit up and watch the front for lunch and I hate it!!!! It feels like being on display!

I have to go drive the Pathfinder around town. I have no place to go. We need to get it as empty as possible to put in a fuel additive. We are getting horrible gas mileage and the dealership told us to add this $22.00 stuff to a tank of premium gas. If it doesn't improve then they will take a look at it. I am wondering if it is just the gauge. Time will tell.

Yes I have been posting once or twice at work while in my office but working in the main office, I am so busy I can hardly breath. lol

I'm at lunch right now and had to leave a bit late. No place to sit in the 1st floor workroom so I came back to my office to eat. It really amazes me how many idiots can not read. I have my door shut and locked. My door is an old woooden door with glass panes in the top half. I have a sign on my door telling people to go to the main office. I have had 3 people knock, rattle the door or just stare at me in the last 15 minutes. I just smiled and said read the sign. I wanted to say, Listen idiot I did not waste my time making a sign for nothing...SO READ IT!!!!! Ok deep breathe. lol

Sandy is your Pathfinder still under warranty? If not go to another place, like a parts store or even Walmart and ask them what you could add. I am sure there's something you can add that is much cheaper than what you buy at the dealership. But if it is under warranty you had better use their stuff otherwise it could void the warranty.

Selena, yes we are under warranty. I actually bought the stuff at a auto parts store. The man in the store HIGHLY recommended it, too. Then I walked out the door with an older gentleman and he uses it in his volvo and his wifes honda. He absolutely loves it. I guess it must be pretty good!

You really don't expect people to read your sign now do you, Selena? The sign is for others. Their question is certainly worth bothering you. People are funny creatures.

Ha Ha I guess I do need to lower my expectations of people. I was just really hungry and had to use the bathroom really bad so my 3 minute lunch was freakin important to me at the time. lol I keep on saying I am going to buy myself a shade to put up and put down but it ticks me I have to pay for it out of my own pocket. lol

We had an amazing day yesterday. It was our 17th anniversary. Jeff took me to a vineyard http://www.raffaldini.com/rendering.shtml and bought us a glass of wine. Then he took me out to dinner. We stopped in the bar and I had a Classic Dirty Martini. Jeff had a Red Oak. They have 5 courses for 2 people for $50. http://www.villagetavern.com/ We had crab dip, Caesar Salad, New England Clam Chowder, Marinated Flank Steak and Rainbow Trout and Apple Cobbler. All of that came with wine too. Needless to say I had plenty to drink yesterday. I came home and went to bed. :)

Selena - Happy Belated Anniversary. Sounded like you had a wonderful day, I think Jeff earned a few points with the day he planned for you!! I would love to go to a vineyard and have some wine, sounds so romantic!! the view was pretty and the fountain looked really nice.

I went to give my opinion about a car for 2 hours and got paid $150 yesterday. When I got home Chris suprised me with a bright colorful bouquet of flowers. He didn't notice but the colors of the bouquet were our wedding colors!!! Then he suprised me and cooked me king crab legs. I told him we weren't going to do anything because we can't afford it but he did anyway, I felt so bad I didn't have anything for him after all he did for me. So I took him to breakfast this morning at our favorite place!

Happy belated anniversary Selena! It sounds like you had a really nice time.
Heidi, it sounds like Chris did good too.

We had a nice day yesterday too. We didn't really do anything yesterday morning. In the afternoon Rachel and I went to Kohl's since I had a 30% off coupon. We got some great deals. Brad cooked lasagna last night and I set the table with the china, crystal and good silverware. We had a candlelight dinner (with the kids). It was really fun. :)

We went out for dinner tonight. We just got back a little bit ago. We went to a Mongolian grill. I had never been before. It was really good! I would definitely go back.

Happy Anniversary Selena!!! Wow, what a sweetie you are married to. If Ted would ever plan something like that I think I would drop dead in my tracks. He doesn't have a romantic bone in his body!!

Cristi, I only had a 15% off. Lucky you.

Had a terrific lunch with some friends today and then we came back to our house to play on the Wii. They have never played so it was fun. The wife was so funny listening to her play. She made all the noises you hear at tennis matches. She is going to be hurting tomorrow. After they left we broke out the Mario Kart. Well, you can say that that isn't my best game to play. I think I will have to stay with bowling. We opened up the Fit yesterday. Man, I thought I would have better balance than I do. I actually was a hula hoop winner back in my days but to do it yesterday, one would never guess. LOL

Tomorrow will be spent playing around with Heidi. Ted and Heidi have it off for President's Day.

Did I tell you guys that Ii talked to my doctor on Friday about zip lining? I told him not to laugh but could I give myself a heart attack out of fear while doing it. His reaction was hilarious. We have a great repoire. He told me to go for it. He said that if he could sky dive then I can zip line. I have decided to go all the way up and if I just can't do it then I can go back down via a sky tram (or walk). After watching Amazing Race tonight and seeing them bungy jump I decided that zip lining has to be MUCH easier! Watching the first guy made my stomach sick. No lie!

If you can believe it, we did nothing for Valentine's Day. Tammy has always felt that, if you have all year to show how much you love somebody, why save it all up and only express it on that one day. No offense to those of you who were spoiled and pampered.

We did get our Yellowstone trip booked but, unfortunately, we won't be there the same time as Heidi and Sandy because our company picnic is on August 1 and, since I am one of the planners, I can't miss it. We're going from July 22 - 26, staying two days at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge and two days at the Canyon Lodge.

Nice Jrsy. I think you will love your Yellowstone trip. I have always wanted to stay in one of the lodges. I'm jealous!

Jrsy - I have the same thoughts as Tammy does about Valentines Day, but Chris doesn't think that way (even though I keep trying to get him to change!)

Cristi - how fun to have a candlelight dinner with the kids, I know my girls would really enjoy that!

Rachel kept wanting to turn the lights on so she could see better. Jacob wanted them off. I think she just wanted to make sure she didn't accidentally eat a tomato in the lasagna. :) They had fun. They liked using the fancy dishes. I really should pull them out more often.

Heidi, Chris did well too.

Sandy, believe me Jeff rarely is romantic so this was nice. He will surprise me about once every 5 years. lol I am dead serious.

Cristi sounds like your Valentine's was extra special.

Jrsy I totally see Tammy's point of view. If it were not our anniversary I am really unsure if we would do anything. I am not really into wasting money on expensive flowers on Valentine's Day. I also do not really like the candy you can buy. But I do like to think of Valentine's Day as a day to celebrate your love for one another. That can be done in numerous ways. Flowers, candy, love notes, cards, etc. Jeff did buy me a pot of tulips to plant. He knew I was wanting some tulips and he knows how practical I can be so he bought me a pot of them to plant.

Sandy when we used the Wii at the lake last winter 2 of my friends were so funny playing tennis. They were so into it. Really cute.

Good morning, back to work! Had a rough start this morning and was really thinking I should have went back home and fell back asleep, but I am here! I have a laser appointment today at noon so at least I get to leave early!

Did I tell you that we switched diets. We are now on WW. I was so stressed yesterday at work. I had used 11 points by dinner time so I had a 1 point meal and then a 1 point dessert and a glass of wine. lol Jeff told me that he saw I had priorities yesterday. lol It is just so hard to eat within the 20 pt range. I have had a 1 point coffee, 1 pt breakfast bread with a half of a pt peanut butter on top and then a 1 pt snack a little while ago. I am at 3.5 points so far. I have a 5 pt lunch and I am planning a 7 pt dinner. No alcohol for this evening. lol

Just a quick hello, i'm still alive somewhere under all these papers.
