Jrsy, how was the lasagna?

I made brunch instead of my usual gumbo. We had french toast casserole and sausage. I had a really nice Christmas and really enjoyed spending the day with just Aerial today. She was so bouncy happy and lately it's unusual for her since she's become a moody teen. So, just her smile was enough for me. Oh she really touched me too, she had gone shopping with her bff and mom to get me something and had 2 things wrapped. Well when I woke up this morning, there was this beautiful black candlebra with red tea light cups (most of my house is black/brown & red) on my desk unwrapped like it was from Santa. She told me she set her alarm for 5 a.m. to put it out before I got up.

Hope everyone had a nice day! Our house is empty of people now,but full of gifts, paper and dirty dishes. It was fun today. I started with Bailey's in my coffee, moved on to beer, then champagne and ended up with Bailey's in coffee again. Now I am having some water and I think I am going to go put my pjs on.

Rachel had been shopping with one of her friends a couple of weeks ago and she bought both Jacob and I gifts while she was out. She was so excited that this was the first time she actually bought us something. She was going to get Brad something too, but couldn't decide what so she ended up giving him a movie that I had already picked u.

Sounds like a good day for everyone! We also had a great day. Santa made a suprise visit and bought us a Wii. We are so psyched. We spent the afternoon playing it!! I was like a little kid at Christmas last night and all I did was dream about my new toy, the Wii!

Went out shopping early this morning and picked up my next year supply of wrapping paper!

I would have been passed out on the floor. I did have a cup of wine. Yes a cup. My parents do not drink and as respect issue we do not drink in front of them. SO....I put my bottle of wine in the extra fridge in the garage and took a trip out there right before my parents came.

I don't know why I didn't make it. I've just been so busy and it takes 5 hours. But, I will have to make some soon.

I went to my friends Christmas get together the other night and we played the Wii. Now I want one!!! I am kind of thinking about getting it for my birthday. I would love to get the wii fit too.

Santa brought E a Wii last year and when the Wii Fit came out Jeff bought it for me. I am ashamed to say I have only used it once. Jeff was so sweet to go the very day it came out to buy it for me and now I have only used it once. I do plan on starting on my exercise routine again soon. I have walked a little this week. I have been so sick that I have not really exercised since October!!

We just got back from the $2.50 movies. We watched Eagle Eye. I was upset (not really) at Jeff when I saw they had Nights in Rodanthe on there. I guess I should have known when he said that they only had one movie he would see on there. lol Anyway they had another movie that he is interested in seeing but he did not realize it might be good until I asked the concessions guy about it. It is the Leonardo Dicaprio movie, Body of Lies. I told them we could go back to see that tomorrow and Mac and I would go on Sunday to see Nights in Rodanthe. I loved the book so I am looking forward watching the movie. I will make sure to bring tissues because Nicholas Sparks makes me cry.

I guess I kind of sounded like a lush, huh. I never even got a buzz off of it. It was spread out over the whole day (and I only had one beer). It did make for less stress with all of the in-laws over.

I have gained 5 lbs since coming back from the cruise. I hate it too!! My favorite jeans which almost fell off of me on the cruise is now almost too tight!!!!

Tons of leftovers. Tammy chose Maggiano's for her birthday dinner with Alex and me on Friday night and wanted to do family-style dining, so we brought home leftover chopped salad, Maggiano's salad, calamari, mozzarella marinara, ziti, manicotti, chicken parm, chicken marsala, cheesecake and creme brulee to go along with half a pan of leftover lasagna from Christmas dinner.

Why did I think both of you already had Wii? Weren't we just talking about high scores and pro status a few weeks ago? My SIL brought over Mario Kart on Christmas and let us borrow it until Saturday night so Alex wanted to use his gift cards to buy it last night only we couldn't find it anywhere.
