Now I am at Del Taco (only place I know with free wireless) to see if I get kicked off. Seems to be running fine. I've been on now for about 5 minutes. I feel totally stupid but how else are we going to figure this out? I don't want to take this in until the other comes back.

Joey and Tyler called me last night to sing happy birthday to me. That is always the highlight of my birthday especially this one. Kind of a bad birthday with Tyler's MRI and his 22 seizures and then this computer acting up. Oh well, today is another day. We hear about Tyler's test results today. Next Tuesday will be another EEG. I honestly think that he is on his way to NO seizures. Stacey's seizures went wild right before she got under control. The last day I saw her have them she had 45 and then I quit counting. They are quickies, not the kind that you picture of grand mal's.

Wow, you scared with me 22 seizures, but maybe, hopefully you are right if that's what his mom did too. I'm sorry your birthday was kind of stressful.

If I tell y'all about this guy y'all will think i'm crazy maybe. Maybe I am crazy, but he is the first guy i'll enjoyed talking to this much in a long time. After all the craziness here I really haven't gone out or mingled or anything for quite awhile. Aerial's bff's mom, jeri and i have gotten to be good friends and she talked to me into putting my personal back up on the local free single board. So, this guy wrote to me and gave me his email address and we started emailing. He is from here, but in Afghanistan. He draws maps for the Army, isn't in the military. He's leaving there at the end of November. So, anyway, we've sent each other a bunch of pictures, talk all day, all the time in emails, except when we are sleeping. He is 9.5 hours ahead of me, so right now he is sleeping. Then, we started talking on the phone. I am not a big phone talker, but i can talk to him forever. He is so intriguing to me. He is 36. Am I totally nuts?

Nope!!! I think it sounds like a sweet story. Is he a contractor for the army or is he a civilian employee for the Army? I hope he thinks as much about you as you do him.....you deserve an amazing guy that adores you.

Thank you Heidi! I am finally realizing I do DESERVE something good.

Here's some pictures. He seems to like me, I tried to blow him off at first, but he was persistant, then I realized I starting waiting on his emails. I have one in the morning when I wake up, every morning telling me good morning. The picture in front of the truck was taken yesterday for me. I love the one where he has the hoodie. The other one was taken in Turkey. Oh he was actually in the Reserves in Germany and ended up getting a civilian job on base. He works for a company called KBR that actually has an office here locally in my area, where he is coming back to in December. He has a degree in Geography, he went to school in Kansas. He's been in Europe pretty much since 2003. He's a little nervous about adapting back in the US. Not sure what he is going to do next. Lately he signs his emails Your James! Yes his name is James, sound familiar?

OMG I did not know that Tyler has had that many seizures. OMG!!! You guys are and always will be in my prayers. lol I have my little list for all my board buddies. I tried to add special speciifc insight for each person.

Well Jeff is bored and lonely in Texas. He is still in South Houston near Hobby Airport. He said the recieved an email today about working another tour of duty. Which sounds good because if they get enough volunteers then he will get to come home. He did email and tell them he would be glad to work another tour as long as they let him fly out on November 1 until November 9 for his vacation. If you work more than one tour you have off 5 days in between. He said he would defer the 5 days until November 1 and that would leave him only using 3 vacation days. It sounds real positive for now. It seems with way it goes he should be able to go on the cruise. This tour is over October 18. They were told not everyone will be allowed to go home on the say day. However, if he comes home for good he will get to go out to California with me. If not, he will not come out until Saturday, the day before the cruise. If his happens I am going with friends to Disneyland.

Wow Selena. A lot going on with Jeff. I hope that he gets exactly what HE wants! Tyler's seizures......Stacey told me 22 that day but now she says 15. No matter what it is a lot. I just didn't want to exagerate the amount if it was only 15.

Jrsy, Ted is well on his way to bald-om. I just don't think he would look good shaving his head. The color skin on his head is a pretty bright pink. I have never seen such a color before. LOL

Jeff called this evening to tell me that no one really knows what they are doing. Well he did NOT say that at all, I am. lol He said he finally received a reply from his email and his manager said that itis not mandatoty to do a second tour of duty. Then another manager sent out emails saying everyone was requited to work 2 tours. Go figure. I am trying to stay positive. It is just going to bother me a lot if he does not get to go because the entire cruise was Jeff's idea. He planned this and I became the group leader of my privateers. I can not imagine after 2 years of planning that he does not get to go with me.

Jeff said after the email from his manager he replied and said then he would like to go home after the inital first tour of 28 days but then went on to say if they needed him he would work until October 26 and then go home so that he will have the drive time to go with me on vacation.

I do not want to fly home alone. Well what I do not want to do is come into my home airport at midnight. I would be about 12:30 to find my luggage. Then at my car around 1 am and home by 2:15 am. I do not want to walk in that parking lot by myself. I have done this very late at night only once and that was with Jeff. But by myself??? NO WAY! Jeff and I discussed me staying over at a hotel over night and we decided I had to drive home. I am going to be so tired and jet lagged. It would be best to come home and crash for the night. If I stayed somewhere I would have to be concerned with waking up to check out so that I may drive home. Believe me I would not sleep.

Heidi, I have a shirt that looks so much like yours in the pirate pics.

I am so tired, it has been such a long week. I am still not finished with my paper that is due tomorrow to finish this class. I will be so glad to be done. After 2 hurricanes in a 5 week class I am tired of it. Aerial has had so much homework since the hurricane, we were up until midnight last night and she didn't finish it all. She called me after school and told me she was going to bed and she still hasn't gotten up. I took a nap too and am definitely going to bed early, as soon as my phone call to my dude.

We've been talking on the phone every night when he gets up there and every morning right before he's going to bed. Today I have kind of been scared about the whole thing. I mean I really LIKE talking to him. He seems to be very much into me. I haven't had this much attention in forever. He hasn't been in US in so long, what if he doesn't like it here and decides to go back? Debbie says it's because it's different to have someone so nice to me. I am not ready to run, I like the attention, but i'm a little scared to let go. Maybe it's because i'm so tired.

Selena, I hope Jeff gets to definitely go.

My eyes are feeling a good bit better already.

Cristi, don't know if you do anything with Foothills Park and Rec but their computer system was hacked into by someone in RUSSIA. Our credit card info etc has been compromised. Now we have to put a credit alert on our files and cancel our credit card.
