Nice and cool weekend for us and camping. Poor Stacey, the campground is getting packed and many, many more coming in this next week. I can just hear all the complaints now.

Good morning all. Sorry I was MIA for the last few days. Thursday I had a really bad migraine and was sick to my stomach, Friday I didn't go to work either and then at 2:00 we took off to go camping!

For Jrsy and Cristi, we went up to Buffalo Creek. We started at Deckers, then went to Cheesman Resorvoir which you still cannot camp anywhere near, and then ended up at Buffalo Creek. The Hayman fire burn area is looking better, but it still looks deserted and a lot of dead trees, very quiet!

Selena - yes, there are bears but they rarely bother you. I have only been tent camping once, when a bear went through our campsite late at night.

We got our plane tickets for Vegas today. I am so excited to meet my friend!!! We are having a lil black dress night and another dressy night. Deb, has been making us an itenerary, (which i love). 44 days to go

We had a little over a bussel of Blue Crabs. Kim's (bryan's GF) unlce is a boatman and got the crabs for us. All he charged us was beer. lol Bryan works for an Adult Beverage Company. He traded beer for our blue crabs. He also provided the beer and wine for our party.

Brad spent the weekend hanging two more doors in our house. Rachel and I painted the kids bathroom. It is BRIGHT green You almost need sunglasses in there. After I get it finished, I will post pictures. I need to do another coat on the cabinet and then do all of the touch up spots. I was going to do some of that tonight, but I didn't get home from work until almost 7 so I decided against it. Maybe tomorrow.

Selena - looks like you had a fun weekend. I have never eaten blue crabs before, but the table filled with them looks delicious!! How fun, wish I got to do fun stuff like that, but we just don't have access to crabs here!!!!! The picture with you and Jeff is such a good picture.

Cristi - I cannot wait to see pictures of the kids bathroom, bright green!!! I bet they love it.

Marcie - One step closer to Vegas!!!! I can't wait to hear about your trip report when you get back.

Heidi, we did something just like this in Colorado Springs last summer. Our friends down there had the crabs shipped in fresh and cooked them up in the backyard. The company even sent the spices and the wooden mallets. It was a lot of fun, but you have to expect to be messy.

Can I also say that there is nothing quite like coming into the office after a long, hot morning in the field and seeing an email from a certain Funky Monkey that says "Love You."
