Jrsy and Cristi - thank you so much for coming and for your kind words. It was so great to see you. Tammy looked amazing, she is such a strong person, she amazes me.
Poor Chris, I didn't think he would make it through the ceremony, he was crying so bad. He said he saw me on the side of the building and lost it and couldn't compose himself through the entire ceremony. I luckily had his brother making funny faces at me the entire time so I didn't cry that much!
Okay so before the ceremony it seems like everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong!! The ceremony was suppose to start at 6:00, but the flowers were just arriving at that time when they were suppose to be delivered at 4:30. The flower lady had the day wrong, she thought June 6th was Saturday and not Friday. Before she came, some of my family and Chris's family were headed to the grocery store to get flowers to make a bouquet so at least I would have one. We had to take all my before pictures without flowers. Then when she came, nothing was put together so she was making stuff from her van. She was suppose to set up and arrange the centerpieces, but some of the guests had to. She told Chris we would get a full refund, but then sent me an email saying she would give us half back, so Chris is going to talk with her.
Then after stressing about the flowers, I found out that the cake wasn't there. The Cake had been delivered to the wrong place, but it arrived about the same time the flowers did.
After that everything went off great. It was very busy and like people warned me, it went very fast and is like a big blur! Everyone at work has been commenting on what fun they had and that we had a lot of great personal touches that we added to the wedding.
I will post more in detail when I get some time to breathe!
On Saturday we all went white water rafting, it was a lot of fun but cold. Everyone had a blast. No one went swimming and everyone stayed in the boat.
Sunday was the zoo and we spent all day there. I am use to spending a few hours there so I didn't put on sunscreen, but found out when you stay all day you get burned!!! We were there from opening to closing.
Monday we went horseback riding. The ride went great, we had a 1.5 hour ride. When we got back to the stable, the scariest experience happened. There was 12 of us that went, everyone but Amanda and Chris's sister Karen was off their horses. Emily and Chris's niece Rachel were saying goodbye to their horses when a horse that was tied to the same hitching post as their horses got spooked and reared up, of course scaring the other two horses tied up to the same hitching posts. All three horses were rearing up and broke the huge log off the hitching post. All the horses freaked out and some took off running while the other 3 horses where running all tied up together freaking out. I grabbed Amanda's horse so it wouldn't take off running with her on it, when I saw Rachel in the middle of the three horses that were tied together, Rachel got bumped and was on the ground. It was terrifying to see her out there. Chris's brother ran to get her while Chris grabbed his knife so the wrangler could cut the horses free. We first thought the horses stepped on her because she was screaming in pain, but later discovered it was the log that hit her foot. She kept asking who was pushing her to Jerry (Chris's brother) but there was no one out there as Emily ran when the whole thing started to happen, so we all believe it was her guardian angel pushing her to safety. She is doing better today, but still can't put much pressure on her foot.
