You can buy the Mini Thomas White Bagels and use them for breakfast, 1 point. I had a great breakfast with egg, canadian bacon and a small square of FF chesse for 2 points this weekend.

Eggs are 2 points. My friend used only 3 eggs, 2 pcs of FF Cheese, and one pc of canadian bacon per bagel. It was extremely good.

I am making something similar tomorrow on a Thomas Wheat Light English Muffin. Mine will be 3 pts.

Coffee Mate?!? :scared1: If you haven't before, read the ingredients on that stuff. It is mostly oil; hydrogenated oil at that, which means it is a little cup of trans fat.

It's the liquid kind. It says 0 trans fat 1/5 gr fat ? do you mean the powder?

I have those bagels at my home right now, I think I will splurge and have one for breakfast tomorrow.

Today's menu: (I still haven't made the effort to figure out points)

B - Oatmeal, 1 cup of green tea
L - left over BBQ chicken, small amount of mac and cheese
D - Taco salad, skim milk

Exercise - 30 minutes on Elliptical, 20 minutes on stationary bike, 10 minutes on Abs and Arms

One of my co-workers who alos does weight watchers brought lunch for us today since I've been working through lunch. It's mexican chicken breast. She said it's about 5 points. Breakfast was oatmeal and dinner Aerial and I are splitting the last terrayki chicken breast and veggies.

Heidi what you will have to look out for is the sauce on your chicken and the mac and chese is high in points due to the chese, milk, butter/margarine.

Also you want to eat foods low in fat, high in fiber and low in calories. That is what most of the points are based upon. WW is big on the fiber.

If and when I get the slider I will make copies of it for you and Marcie and mail them to you. The slide is where you look up the values of the fat, fiber and calories (not sure if anything else is on there) and it then gives you the point total.

I lost my 2 lbs. I am so glad that it was just water weight.

According to FDA regulations, anything less than .5 grams of trans fat per serving can be labeled as 0 grams per serving, or trans fat free. If a product has very small serving sizes listed, you could very well get 1 to 2 grams of trans fat with a realistic portion. So check what the serving size is on that liquid and compare it against how much you are actually using.

The powder is another story entirely. Somebody told me recently that it is flammable and that, as a kid, he used to entertain himself by throwing handfuls of it into the campfire and watching the fireworks.

I don't mean to preach, but I find trans fats to be a very frightening concept. The idea that it is a man-made product that the human body essentially has no idea how to deal with. A hydrogenated oil is basically what Crisco is; is that really something you want to put in your coffee every morning?

That just grossed me out!! Good thing I don't drink coffee!! :goodvibes

Selena - I don't have sauce on the chicken, I just have salt, pepper and garlic powder on it. Is that okay do you think? Thanks for helping me through this!

Yikes, good thing I don't use the powder. I will look at it again tonight. I have to have coffee for one more week. I have 20 hours of OT in the last week and a half.

Oh and have I mentioned I'm not sleeping too well again. It has to be the stress of the end of tax season. I know I'm a little down, just from exhaustion. Hopefully it will clear up after it's over. I can fall asleep, I just wake up all night. I saw midnight, 2 am (I watched bill cosby and made a goal plan in my head for work today), 4 am (they were doing the testing of the american broadcast system on nick lol so i flipped channels) and 5 a.m. that time I rolled over and went back to sleep.

Coffee is OK as far as I am concerned; you just have to be careful of what you put in it. If you need flavor, go with Torani syrups, which are made with all natural ingredients. Otherwise, stick with real dairy products like milk or half-and-half.

Coffee and beer are both ICKY!

Marcie, stress and lack of sleep can slow your metabolism down. Once tax season is over, I bet you do just fine.....as though you aren't already.

I just realized that yesterday was a year that I rented my apartment. I can't believe I went through that this tired. I am so much happier and I love my place. :thumbsup2

Ditto, I can not believe it has been a year either. It has passed quickly and you have become happy again. :cheer2:

Sandy, I did not realize you went thru some of the same stuff with your friend. You are always so upbeat and happy.

Mom is home. I left work at 11 and picked her up and took her home. I unpacked her and did all of her errands. I am so exhausted. I am not use to driving 4 hours a day!!

Did I tell you guys Erik starting a little landscaping business? He is mowing my mom's, Dad's, a friend's and our neighbors yard. He has not started mowing my dad's yard yet because my dad has had 20 trees cut down and waiting on the mess to be cleaned up. But once he starts that he will make about $100 a week. I am so proud of him.

Now MacKenzie has no desire what so ever to do anything. YUCK!!!

Wow, Erik is doing great!! It will be a lot of work. He definitely will earn his 100.00!! Stacey and Heidi babysat when they were tweens and when they were around 17 they got a job at a daycare center. Yes, our friend was very difficult to take care of. When my mom passed away our friend was very demanding and really didn't sympathize with me over my moms passing. It always hurt me that she was that way but I do have to take into account that our friend passed away a couple of months after my mom. You made me feel good about being upbeat. I do try my best to be like that!! Hugs.

The yards Erik will be mowing are very small. Our neighbors and my dad's he can use the riding mower. My friends and my moms he will have to push mow. The most amount of time he will spend is an hour and a half. For now he is going to go to my parents on Fridays and come back on Saturdays. That will change once baseball starts. My friend's yard he might not start mowing for another couple of weeks.

I want Mac to get a job of some nature because I wany my children to know they have to work for what they want in life. I want them to be responsible with money and pay bills on time.

Sandy you are always very upbeat. You always make me smile.

I can not believe I am still awake. I finished reading a book and that helped me to relax. Once Erik is done taking a shower, the kids only will take one in my bathroom/weird huh?, I am going to bed.

I am really shook up. One of the kids in our apartment was sitting on the railing upstairs and the railing gave way and he fell right by my apartment. He is about 8 or 9. They made him stay there until the ambulance came. Across the street from the apartment is a baseball field and then a field next to it. They put him in the ambulance drove to the field and a helicopter came and life flighted him to the hospital. He was pretty spacy, never blacked out though. They said they were just be extra precautious. I hope he is okay. He said both of his wrists were hurting and his neck. I had to walk away and go into my apartment, before I really lost it. I was crying. I came inside and hugged Aerial. I couldn't imagine that being my child. Then I went to my friends apartment and hung out for a bit to get my mind off it.

On another note I have been worried about Aerial. Being a single parent with no one to really talk to (a parent of my own or family member), it is tough. She has been telling me lately that she has been feeling really shy and doesn't know how to talk to people. I don't know if I should just let her get through it or what to do. She says at her old school she knew everyone since pre-k and she never had the chance to be shy. EVERYONE knew Aerial. That's just it though, we go out in public and people from her new school yell out hi to her if we see them. I've always known her to have a lot of friends, but she is feeling like she doesn't know what to say to people? She has a small group of friends she's really comfortable with and everyone else she is nice to, but doesn't feel comfortable with. I have been talking to her about it but I don't know if I am saying the right things and I have been so exhausted lately I know my head is not clear. Anyone go through this? Is it because she is 14 and hormonal? Or shoud I be worried. She seems happy, she just clams up around people she doesn't know. She told me she is fine, just knows she's shy. Maybe I am just overly sensitive tonight after that kid got hurt.

Update, they did cat scans and x-rays and he was fine. He is back home watching tv. I just talked to his Mom, she is shock and knows it could have been a lot worse. Someone sure was looking out for him. Life can be scary sometimes.

Wow, Marci. That must have been really scary. I am so glad he is okay.

I am not sure what to say about Ariel. Maybe it is just the age and insecurities that come along with it. It sounds like she has a group of friends at her new school that she hangs with, right? I don't think you need to be worried about her just keep talking to her. I was really shy as a kid too. I had a small group of friends that I talked to and then didn't talk much to anyone else.

Marcie - what a scary experience. The girls always want to sit out on the rail of our balcony and I always tell them no because I am afraid they are going to fall. Glad the boy is okay, did you see him fall? About Aerial, I know I wasn't shy at that age and the teachers made my parents aware of that as well during parent/teacher conferences!:lmao: My sister was shy, but for the most part she has gotten over it now. I think it is just Aerial's age and all the different stuff that is changing in her. Aerial is at such a difficult age right now, you are doing the right thing. Hopefully it will pass. Congrats on one year!!! We all new you could do it, cheers to another great year for you!

Selena - Wow, that is a long time to be in the car. That is so cool that E started his own business. My mom and dad were very good at teaching us how to budget and spend our money wisely. I can't thank them enough for it because I see how Chris spends money and doesn't know how to budget. Does Mac have any interest in babysitting?
