I'm here. We had GS camping up at Magic Sky over the weekend. About 80 people. It was beautiful up there, really windy on Sunday morning though. We had to hold on to the little girls so they didn't blow away. I took Monday off to recover and didn't do anything except read. I started feeling bad mid afternoon and ended up calling in sick on Tuesday. I slept all day and don't feel too bad today. Yesterday was Jacob's science fair. He had a good time, but didn't win anything.

Lulu, that is scary!! When I worked at the Hall of Justice they had a bomb scare and made everyone stay inside. I called Ted to tell him that if I blew up to sue the pants off them! LOL

I went with Alex to the art show at his school last night and got ditched for a cute blonde named Klarissa (which is better than getting ditched by a cute blonde named Klarissa).

Thanks for posting that for me Selena. I am seriously going to go to the store this weekend and probably start to make it on Sunday since Saturday is my Bridal Shower. Mom - you want to help?? We don't have a very good peeler, do you?

You are welcome. I bought two new ones from Walmart. I was going to buy one that was $5.97 but Jeff made me get a cheaper one. It was $2.97. Both his and mine were the same price and they worked excellent! We had a long conversation about the different ones and he did not believe me the one I bought would be the best. Needless to say by the time we were done he wished he had bought one like mine.

The last 2 days have been crazy.

Tuesday work was very busy and I was behind. Then Erik had a allergy problem and I had to pick him up. His left eye was swollen and he had a rash. I took him to the dr and they changed his allergy medicine and gave him some allergy eye drops. Later that evening I had my salon appt. Very busy day.

Today is MacKenzie's 15th birthday. She passed her permit test and now has her limited Learner's Permit. Then we went shopping. We had to get her some sunglasses. Then she went to get a new camera. Afer, lunch.

I am making her bday cake now for her sleep over tomorrow night.

I have to brag a bit. Her cake turned out pretty good. It is a Strawberry Shortcake using 2 8 inch layers of butter recipe mix cake. You split them making 4 layers. You have strawberries and sugar mixed together till juicy. Then you layer the cake, strawberries and homemade whip topping together. I put a chocolate covered strawberry on top.

It took me a long time to lose this last pound I've lost. Only 1 more pound to go, until I maintenance.

I had the strangest dream about getting my tattoo last night. I still want to get a tiara and I dreamed that someone (I don't remember who) came home about 2 this morning and I mentioned wanting it and off we went, with Aerial and my friend from high school. I wanted just a few inches and it covered the whole bottom of my stomach, didn't hurt at all though. It looked liked something a kindegartener would draw and it was bright blue. He used a paint brush when he was done and painted some white details on it. THEN when I'm all done and pay him $45 he tells me I can't go to the beach until January.

Actually, he has known Klarissa since kindergarten but they aren't in the same class this year so I think it was more the novelty of hanging out together again. His real crush is Carmen on The George Lopez Show.

It looks like somebody has updated her bridal registry in the past week. Heidi, you tell Chris that I don't think he needs a Slim 'N Lift Body Shaping Garment! And you can bet that I won't be buying that scale; I don't need to get all the grief when it doesn't show the right numbers...

The bridal shower is over. It went over really good. My house survived and so did my new carpet. I was so worried about red punch but everyone could tell it was new carpet and was so kind about shoes and eating. I am not one to ask people to take off their shoes at the door but most everyone did. I have foot problems and can't go barefoot. I felt so guilty that everyone else was careful and here I am running around with my shoes on.

The shower went great. My sister had the most awesome cheesecake at the party. Blew my diet but it was so worth it! It snowed which is crazy, I wish it would have been 70 degrees, but oh well it was still a lot of fun!

It was 83 here yesterday but now in the higher 60's, overcast and trying to dizzle.

I am glad the shower went well. Did you get a lot of good stuff?
