Bryan and I have a date tonight. :goodvibes I guess I was kind of nervous and I woke up at 2 a.m. and couldn't sleep, so I watched a movie. I finally went to sleep at close to 4 and then when my alarm went off i reached on my nightstand to grab my phone and I stretched at the same time. Well something knotted up in my back along my left shoulderblade and I froze. I guess I pulled something, it hurts a lot. I brought my heating pad to work and I'm taking motrin. I don't have time for a hurt back. :sad2: I have a date, a trip to Houston tomorrow and a race that is only 10 months away.

Oh NONONO Marcie. No you do not have the time for a hurt back when you have a date. Doesn't your back know that you can not hurt when you have an important date? lol I do hope you get to feeling better.

Guess What???? They are calling for snow here Monday. We are out of school on Monday for MLK. I do not believe we will get snow. BUT heck let it snow then melt so I can go to work on Tuesday. lol

Oh no Marcie, that itsn't good. I now know that I can't "stretch" in the morning because I did the same thing. It HURTS, I know. Don't overdo and heat helps me!

Selena, SNOW?? Build that snowman!

My back feels a lot better today, not completely gone but a BIG improvement. :thumbsup2 So, I went out with Bryan last night. We had a great night! Went out to eat at a nice restaurant and then we went to his house because he wanted to give me this running book, and we ended up watching this running documentary and making mojitos. Yup we watched a documentary on a date. I found someone as dorky as me :lmao: :rotfl2: I also got to see his WDW marathon medals last night. Very, very cool. It's not looking like we are going to get to houston today, but when I get off of work I am going to check out Academy to see if they have this brand of shoes I'm after. Then, I'm going to run. After that I am off to a crawfish boil birthday party at my friends house. Busy weekend, but I'm all smiles today. :goodvibes 2 1/2 more hours of overtime and I'm off until Monday, (12 more Saturday's to go)

Wow and to think my excitement has been wake up, go to grocery store, Walmart, pick up Jeff's glasses and run in Belk Department store to exchange something. I am so boring!!! Mac and I are watching Gilmore Girls. Jeff is playing the XBox and Erik is gone to a basketball game. I think I am going to take Mac to McDonald's. Fun Fun, huh?

Marcie certainly has a fun weekend planned. Don't worry Selena. My weekend is boring as well. We ran to Target and then came home. Ted is wiring outside lights around my garage door and I am his grunt. Had a little trouble pulling the wire but looks like the worst is over.

Heidi's weekend is going pretty good the way it sounds. I know that they are at the movies now. Heidi, thanks for texting Jrsy for me.

Hey Jrsy, did you get Mario Kart? Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes, we got the last one at around 1pm yesterday. Thanks, you and Heidi, for the head's up. We had to go to guitar lessons first, then checked the Super Target by us, but they didn't have it, so we headed over to yours and were just in time. Alex was good and did his school work first without complaining before we played.

Did you see that there was another freigh train derailment that has jacked up the light rail? For some reason, even though it is down by the downtown Littleton station, they won't be running light rail trains to the Oxford station until everything is fixed, which means I can't walk to the station for this week, at least. Tammy will probably have to run me over to Englewood and pick me up.

I didn't hear about that. I am glad that I read this today. Brad rides everyday from the Mineral Station. I guess he will have to go to Englewood too.

We didn't do a lot yesterday. The kids and I had hair appointments. Rachel and I went down the street to talk to our neighbor that works at the pool. Rachel wants to get an internship there this summer and needed to find out about it. We spent quite awhile down there catching up with her. Jacob had a sleepover to go to last night and Rachel and I went to the mall to use one of her gift cards she got. The mall was really dead last night.

Today we are getting ready to head up to Longmont to see my parents new house that they are going to close on the end of the month and then on up to Loveland to pick up some stuff from their old house.

Cristi, sounds like you are keeping yourself busy.

Jrsy, glad you guys ended up with the Mario Kart. There were only four and we bought one. I did hear about the light rail and thought of you. Ted and I were just saying what a good kid Alex is so it doesn't surprise us that he got his schoolwork done before playing. We haven't even opened up ours.

Hey just a check in

Today we went to the movies. Did I mention during Christmas Break we found a theater that has movies for $1. Of course they are older ones but that is fine withe me. We went to the movies there today. We saw the James Bond Movie and Four Christmases. I liked the James Bond movie and I really like Daniel Craig as Bond. However, it was hard for me to follow but the last one I had to watch more than once to totally/fully understand it. For some reason it moves to fast for me to get everything. I can follow it but just miss a lot. I am sure after seeing this one again I will understand more of what is going on. lol Now I love the other movie. We all laughed so hard during it. They have 3 other movies on there I am interested in seeing. We thought about going tomorrow but I am not sure if we will. We might hang aorund here and go out to dinner instead.

Our diet started today. Jeff chose the low carb diet. I lose quickly and normally keep it off until my next vacation. lol I hate diets and I am not a huge meat eater so this diet is very trying for me. I am sure I will be in a ill mood for at least a week.

I fixed an omelet and bacon for breakfast. I have 2 lbs of chicken tenders marinating in 2 different marinates. One will be for lunch and the other for dinner tomorrow night. I have beef stew that I made yesterday for tonight. I have to break up all that chicken. I also made some jello sugar free edition for me to have as a sweet.

So Tammy got up and drove me to Englewood even though Alex has the day off today and, when the train pulls in, there are people on it already! I asked a guy if he got on at Oxford and he said yes! I could have walked to my normal station and Tammy could have slept in, but I was going by what RTD has on their website. I'm going to try to ride all the way down to Oxford on my way home tonight and see what happens.

He didn't even want to get lunch until after we'd gone to SuperTarget. We ended up going to IHOP over by SW Plaza and, after being seated immediately, no one came to wait on us for a pretty long time. Some of the servers actually looked over at us and turned away. Finally, a young lady came by to check on us, took our order and we probably had our food in less time than we had waited for a server and she was very attentive. I called over there yesterday to let the manager know that she stepped up when everyone else ignored us. He said they have an employee recognition program and she would definitely be recognized.

Mac and I went shopping. We had so much fun. I bought a sweater and 3 shirts. One is for the March vacation and others are perfect work work. We also stopped at Victoria's Secret and Mac scored a pair of warm ups that is part of their Pink line for $10. She also used my coupon for free panties and since she bought something pink she got the free pink dog. Then we headed on to Bath and Body Works. I have one of the car air fresheners in my car and I bought some new scent pods to go in it. I also got 4 hand soaps for $10. I thought I did well.

Hey give me your opinion. Do you think it possible that we can only pack one piece of luggage on our March Vacation? We have to pay for the first bag now!!! We can take 2 carry ons. Do you think it is possible I can pack only one bag. Give me some advice on what to take. I am horrible when it comes to my bathing suites. I will probably take 5 but come on they are bikinis and do not weigh much. I will probably put them in my carry on. I am planning on taking a couple of light weight dresses and 1 pair of capri's with several shirts. I will take 2 pairs of shoes and wear one. I will take 2 shorts and just a couple of t-shirts. One pair of jammies. I will take my undies otherwise that is all I am taking. Will take a jacket and a sweater shirt but probably wear those and take them off as soon as I am on the plane. Since I am small I will waste a lot of weight but Jeff's clothes will weigh more. Do you guys think it is possible to pack only one checked bag?

Jrsy, the newspaper said today that the light rail was still not runnning. How interesting. That's too bad!

Selena, my opinion. Nope, you can't pack one piece of luggage. We always have one each. With sunscreen, bug spray, cameras, iPods, meds, just in case pepto bismol etc we just can't do it. Then on top of it, you have to plan on souvenirs. You take about what I do in clothing. We do take our snorkel equipment though. I don't know who you are flying with but international flights usually have 2 free pieces of luggage each. I know Frontier does and so does American Airlines. How funny, I am not a meat person either. I think that is why I like casseroles because you don't have to sit down to a hunk of meat. LOL

Our houseguests are gone!!!! We had a fun weekend, but it was exhausting and expensive! Also we found out the fate of our computer, it looked like we were going to get it back yesterday then we got a call that both processors are shot so they are shipping it back to HP to get fixed. They said it will be several weeks before we get it back, such a bummer. It was driving me crazy not able to log on to the Dis on my long weekend away.

Thursday night we drove up to the hot springs in glenwood springs which is about a 3 hour drive. We stopped in Vail for Dinner. Brittany was so cute as she was so in awe of the mountains and the snow. She kept saying "look at that", and, "OMG that is so beautiful." She also screamed when she saw the mountain goat along the highway. Friday we headed back to Denver and stopped at Copper Mountain to go tubing. This was a blast. On our last run, Brittany and I went together on our stomachs and we hit a bump at the top of the hill and she flew off her tube and had to walk all the way down. Thankfully she wasn't hurt and laughed about it. Saturday we picked up the girls and saw Mall Cop in the afternoon, then Saturday night we had my cousins over for a Pizza/Wii party. Sunday we had to take Brittany back to the airport and on our way we stopped and ate at the Cheesecake Factory. Yesterday was spent doing laundry and cleaning up the house.

Jrsy - Glad you got Mario Kart. Depending on when you (or Brad) ride the lightrail you might run into Chris! He starts school today. I had no idea about the derailment until Chris called me this morning. He went to park at the Downtown Littleton station and saw it was all boarded up, so he was on his way to the Englewood station to park.

Selena - how long are you going to be gone in March? If it is a week I would say yes I think you could do it but if you wanted souveniers it might be tight coming back!

Marcie - glad you had a great date. I hope works goes by quickly for you for the next few months. Make sure you make some time for yourself!

Cristi - what a fun job for Rachel to do in the summertime if she gets it. I always wanted to work at a pool when I was a teenager!

We are going to be gone 7 days. I plan on taking 4-5 bathing suits, 2 prs of shorts, one pair of capris, 3 tees, 4 other shirts, 2 dresses, undies, one beach cover up and one pair of pj's. I will only take 2 pairs of shoes. Now I will wear jeans, t-shirt, sweatshirt and take a jacket. Of course some type of shoes. My clothes will probably weigh max 10lbs. If that. Jeff will take 2 pairs of shorts, undies, 2 prs of long pants, a couple of tshirts, swin trunks and shirts for dinner. I am hoping no more than 2 pairs of shoes. He will wear jeans, tshirt and sweatshirt. Hopefully he will wear his heaviest pair of shoes.

Off, conidtioner, hairspray, suntan lotion, makeup, hair clip, fekkai smooth hair, razor, shaving gel, medicine, hairbrush, tide sink wash packet, deodrant, aloe, makeup remover, rubbing alcohol, afterbite, nail clippers, fingernail file, toothbrushes, toothpaste. All of which will be travelsizes. Normally this is what weights so much when we travel. I figure since all of it will be travel sizes I will put it in a ziplock and carry it on in my carry on.

I am thinking we will also put one bathingsuit, shorts, teehsirt and shoes in our carry on as well. I am really thinking we might can take only one bag.

Sandy we are flying with USAir and I do not see that international flying will allow us anything. From what I have read we will still be required to pay for our first bag.

As far as Souvies, I am not into that kind of thing. Never have been. I will only buy Erik a tshirt and something for Mac.

Do you guys do anything to your luggage to make it easy to idenify? I had bought some awesome purple hawaiian flowered luggage but it was destroyed after the second time of usage.

I have a friend who has brown luggage. At the time I did not know it but she took ribbon that was almost the exact shade of brown with green poka dots and glued it to the sides of her luggage. I thought her luggage came this way but she told me no she had bought the ribbon. lol I am thinking seriously of doing this to our luggage.
