Marcie - that is such a bummer about your car, did you do a lot of damage to your car?

LuLu - those dresses are so adorable. I honestly do not have a favorite yet that you posted, I will have to check that site out more..tough choices to make!!!

Here is one more picture of Chris and I on Castaway Cay:

Lulu, what a hard decision!!

Marcie, sorry about your car. It is never fun when something like that happens!

Thursday, September 13th:
Chris and I arrived at the airport early in the morning. Joey and Tyler were great on the plane. We sat in the very front row which gave them extra room to play in. We arrived in Orlando and walked (okay, okay carried) Joey and Tyler to the baggage claim and then Chris and I took off for Magical Express.

We checked in to All Stars with no problem and found out we were staying in the room directly below where we stayed last year.

Our first stop was to Magic Kingdom so that Faith could sign us in and get us our park hoppers. We were suppose to meet up with Kristy but she had a doctors appointment that afternoon. Faith told us that Haunted Mansion was open so we went over there to see the newly refurbished ride. I LOVE what they did and the changes they made. After riding HM, we decided to go to MGM Studios since Chris never saw it last year. Unfortunately Rockin Roller Coaster was down so we rode ToT a bunch of times. There were no lines and it was great. We walked all around MGM, I dragged Chris on the Great Movie Ride (he will never go on that one again!!!!) and of course Star Tours. We went back to ToT to ride a few more times. I really wanted to watch Fantasmic, but we were so exhausted we went back to the hotel and crashed.

Friday, September 14th:
Chris and I met Kristy and Eugene at Animal Kingdom and they signed us in. We rode Expedition Everest a few times, then Dinosaur, then back to EE. We then went on our way to Epcot to ride Mission to Space that Chris was so looking forward to since we missed that last year. He was disappointed in that ride, he thought it would be better than what it was. Me, I don’t know I took the wussy route and went on the non spinning version. We then grabbed fast passes for Soaring and headed to Test Track. As we were waiting in line, it seemed that TT had broken down because the line was not moving at all for a few minutes. There was a group of people already waiting to board in the room and they had been there for a while when they started to usher us into another room. The people that were waiting in front of us were mad and were making comments when it turns out the Dream Squad was waiting for us. We all got Dream mouse ears and our own “VIP” car. It was fun, they told us they only give out 100/day so we were very lucky. We wore them for the rest of the day. After Soaring, we headed for Magic Kingdom since we were going to the Halloween Party. As soon as we got off the monorail it poured down rain. We quickly ran for cover under the train station and watched the parade as the rain passed. We rode a few rides and met up with my parents and my sister and her family for dinner at Cosmic Rays.

After dinner, we were going to watch Joey and Tyler so that Stacey and Rich could ride some rides. I think they made it to Haunted Mansion before it started pouring down rain again. This down pour never gave up and continued to pour on us for the rest of the night. My mom ran and bought Joey and Tyler ponchos while Chris was running around the trick or treat spot multiple times to get our bags filled up with candy. He had to have been flirting with the girls because he ended up with a ton of candy!! Do you think Chris and I were smart to bring our ponchos or buy ponchos when my mom went to get them…….of course not. So we bundled up Joey and Tyler in their ponchos and made a run for Main Street. You guessed it, we were soaked. I was so afraid that Chris was going to get sick like last cruise so I made him buy some dry clothes and he made me buy dry clothes and ponchos. Let me tell you, VERY expensive mistake. Lesson Learned, do not leave your poncho in the hotel room and if you do by a new one for $10 instead of $150 worth of dry clothes!!!!

Stacey and Rich caught up to us and took Joey and Tyler home. We weren’t going to let the rain ruin our fun so we put on our ponchos and off in the rain we went. The remaining people were my parents, Kristy and her DH, Chris and I. I tell you, I have never had so much fun in the rain as I did that night. We went around to all the trick-or-treat places and got a ton of candy. We even snuck a ride in at HM and POTC. Midnight was coming quickly so we said our goodbyes and headed back to the hotel. The rain made this night memorable. Lots of laughs and great memories.

More to come....... (mom feel free to add anything!!)

That is awesome! Didn't you get FastPasses from the Dream Squad in Disneyland, too? How lucky!

I am loving all of the pictures and the trip report. I LOVE the semi formal pictures. What proud grandparents you are Sandy.

Heidi, The pic of the kids at at the top of Wolf Creek Pass on our way to Durango this summer. Don't worry, I won't forget you at cookie time! It isn't until the end of January though.

Steph, congrats to your daughter.

Lulu, love your ring!

Marci, Sorry about your car. Brad backed into a post with my car a few years ago so I have a nice little ding in the back bumper still.

I have been a little busier on my other meet thread lately. Our cruise is in less than 90 days. We were able to book our excursions and Palo a little bit ago and we are all getting excited now. Last week one of the people we are cruising with was in Denver for his wife's business. Brad and I met them downtown for dinner and drinks on Friday night. We had a lot of fun!

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Marcie, that's my fave, too!!! Sorry to hear about your car!!

Heidi, the "relaxation" pic is so funny! All of your pics are beautiful! The little ones are just precious!!! Love the one of you and Chris at CC. I am so jealous! Yay for you!

Cristi, thank you! I love my ring, too!

Ugggh it was really a bit more then a ding LOL. The Car seperated at the seam where the bumper meets the quarter panel. And, it needs a lot of paint. I'll be glad to see it nice and new again. My friend Melissa asked me why I didn't stop when I hit the pole haha.

Heidi I am loving the report. :goodvibes

Cristi, Wolf Creek Pass makes me sooooo nervous. It is so narrow and scary!

Heidi is so sick. I talked to her this morning and barely recognized her voice. I would love to call her to see if she went to the Dr. but don't want to wake her if she is sleeping.

Jrsy - yes you are right, we did win the dream fast passes at DisneyLand last year...you have a really good memory!!!

I had to call in sick again today. I am miserable and want to go to the doctor but some how I misplaced my insurance card. I have a bad head cold and a bad cough. My side is killing me from coughing so hard and so much. I feel so bad taking more time off work since I took 8 days off already and now another 2 days this week. If I have to take tomorrow off I have to go to the doctor and get a doctors note for documentation for work, we have a 3 day policy.

Maybe this afternoon I will feel better and be tired of laying down and will do more of the trip report.

I hope you are feeling better soon Heidi!

Jrsy, I don't remember a tunnel.

Sandy, It is a scary pass. Brad made a comment about it would be good to go skiing down there and I said that there was no way that I would drive/ride on that pass in the winter. On the way to Durango, we stopped at a lookout and had to stay there for awhile because our breaks were smoking. :scared1:

You didn't see this?
istockphoto_704722_new_highway_tunnel_on_wolf_creek_pass.jpg

The small building and concrete canopies at each end of the tunnel were designed by yours truly.

Smoky brakes, Cristi??!! That proves why I hate Wolf Creek! Last time we went over it we were pulling a tent trailer.

Way to go Jrsy!!! Nice bldg and canopies.

I am trying to load pictures of Cosmo on his photobucket page but cannot remember the password and ID. Can someone help me????!!!

I can't remember his site even, Heidi. I was just thinking about that the other day and couldn't remember.

Jrsy, I do vaguely remember a tunnel, it must have been that one. Nice job.

Sandy, I don't hate Wolf Creek like I do Berthoud Pass. I hate that one, but I would say that probably 95% of the times that I have gone over Berthoud it has been winter time. :scared1:
