Marcie - I love Kona Cafe, it is at the Polynesian but not a character dinner. Chef Mickey's was fun and a lot of character interactions. The food was okay but the desserts are awesome!!! Be careful of birds because that is where I got pooped on!!!! If you have reservations to Crystal Palace for breakfast, make sure you get it early before the park opens...it is a lot of fun. I was disappointed in WCC so I would skip that just like you are. My mom likes Le Cellier in Epcot. Okay I will stop talking about food, it is making me hungry!!

Marcie, I am sooooo excited for you!!! What dates did you end up with? Over Labor Day still? We have eaten at Spoodles on the Boardwalk before. It was very good but I think they might have changed their menu since we were there. I am going to Coral Reef for lunch. It is a TS. Let's see, Crystal Palace, Coral Reef, Kona Cafe, LTT, and LeCellier. WCC is fun if and only if you get a good server. We had a dud last year. I couldn't wait to show Heidi how much fun it was and man, I was soooooo disappointed.

Okay let me tell you about my day. One of my co-workers asked me to go to lunch with her and I ran into my Dad's best friend and his wife and son. I grew up with them. Cory the son and i are the same age, well I told them I was getting divorced and then went on to my seat. Right before we left he come up to our table and gave me his phone number and said to give him a call sometime and we can go out. I do not see me going out with him but I was so very flattered. It put me in a great mood, and then Melissa my co-worker and I made plans to go to Kemah tomorrow (remember the place with the boardwalk). The friend of mine who is going to disney with me lives about 10 minutes from there, so he said he would meet us there tomorrow for the day. Since, I don't really drive far away like that, it's a sweet opportunity for me. So, I am excited about that. And, of course I booked Disney, that was great. Then I had to go to the lawyer office where Dane was supposed to close on the loan and give me my half. Well, they had his ex-wife on the papers instead of me, so now we have to wait another week or more. Dane was so mad and I never let him see me anything but happy. I don't him to just be patient and we would get it eventually. I even offered to help him until the money came in but he said no. He wants nothing at all to do with me. So I am a little upset. But eh, at least I don't have to worry about a whiny angry man anymore. I think I'm going play Bingo tonight. I am really starting to like this freedom.

Yes, it's Labor day weekend when we are going. I haven't told Jason about our dinner reservations yet, I hope he likes them LOL.

Marcie - I am so glad you are having a good day today, you need it!!! Perfect timing for your self esteem boost when you had to see Dane. I am so proud of you, you are doing great. I love that you asked him if he needed your help. You go girl.....show him you are doing great without him and that you don't need him.

I have a nomination for dumb story of the week:
SIL and her family were supposed to fly back from WDW Friday evening. They get to the airport and discover that they missed their flight by two hours. The ticket agent told them "We left a message for you." Guess where they left the message...that's right, on their voicemail in Colorado. They called Colorado to let them know that their flight from Orlando to Colorado was changed. They had to stay over and take a 6 am flight this morning.

I don't have the entire scoop yet, just what Tammy learned when her sister called her from the hotel when they were supposed to be on their flight. It didn't sound like the airline (I don't know yet which one) did anything more than rebook them on the morning flight. I know if it had been me, they'd have given me hotel, meal and flight vouchers or I would have been getting pretty loud.

I had a lot of fun in Kemah. My co-worker friend and her guy friend and her son who is 2, me and then we met Jason out there. i think we talked my friend and guy friend into going to WDW with us. We all got along so great and her son is sooo cute. She is going through a divorce too and so we have a lot in common.

Marcie - that picture is beautiful. I would love that place. Glad you had a fun weekend. More recruits for WDW means more fun!!!! It is good to know someone who is going through a similar situation as you, that way it's easier to talk and understand.

I need help, ideas fast if anyone is around. Jason's daughter's bday party is Saturday and he wants to give her something to open that is cheap but let's her know she is going to Disney. I told him give me a day and I will try to find something, I would have to get it mailed to him by Friday. Any ideas????

It looks like the WDW ones are Camp out and Beach Party. I like the Disneyland fun better because it shows the rides that are in Magic Kingdom.
