So you probably won't want to hear that Tammy made her pecan bars again last week and there is still one piece left. I just came back from lunch at Mad Greens, a newish salad place on 16th Street.

OK grant it I have not read too much back but on this page...I have read...that Sandy and Heidi went to work out in the pool and then had ice cream afterwards....where is the sense in that? lol Ok I had to pick on you guys!!!

I am in Myrtle Beach at the Cruisin the Coast BIke Rally. We got down at noon and I am loving it!!!

Had steamed oysters for dinner...and Mic Ultra. Yummy!!

I finally took the time to get on the disney site and find the free dining so now I've been checking often to see if a value resort opens up for that weekend. I also found out Aerial will only have school for 1/2 a day Friday so I don't feel as guilty letting her miss.

Marcie - I am not sure about the 4th day, I can't remember. Hopefully my mom will help you out. As far as booking POR and then cancel if a value resort opens up for free dining I would do it....but what is the cancellation policy?

I just read it's free dining per night stay, so I guess that's a no on the 4th day. I need to find the cancellation policy before I book.

I have read that several people have been moving their reservations around the different resorts during free dining. In fact, we moved from Music to Movies.

Sandy is there an advantage to using a TA (Dreams) or just booking online. If I book online, and a value opens I wonder if I would just cancel one and book the other.

No, honestly there isn't a difference. No price break or perks. I don't see a problem with you doing just that! Just double check how many days out that you can cancel.

Okay, tell me if I'm nuts. There is this guy in Dane's car club. He was one of the people I hung out with when we did things. He's only 29 and we are just friends. Well, we've been talking a lot lately and he told me how he wanted to bring his daughter to WDW this year, and so I told him about wanting to do the free dining. Next thing I know, we are looking at rooms together and figured out how much cheaper it would be if we all got a room together. Then to make it all crazier Aerial has begged me to take her best friend, who is a boy by the way. And his parents said he could go. Now, I had to call my friend Jason and ask him if it's ok to bring another and he says he doesn't care. Am I crazy? I'm supposed to be booking now. I think I've decided not to bring her friend. I don't want them 2 in a room alone together, being boy and girl...And, I still think it's rude to bring him since we are going with other people. Any feedback will be welcome. I guess tomrorow I'm booking

Marcie - If I were you I would definitely book one room with the friend and split the cost. That could save you some $$ for souveniers or help pay airfare!! As for bringing her friend, you know your daughter the best. Because that would add on a 5th person, I think Disney would make you get a bigger room like a suite or 2 rooms which would cost a lot more or else you can sneek someone in. But if you sneek someone in they wouldn't get the free dining package. I say tell Aerial and her friend that you can't afford it this trip.

Okay, we are eating at SCi-Fi on MGM day, Crystal Palace on Magic Kingdom day, I need one more table rest. We've done WCC twice so we want to try something different. Maybe on the board walk or Chef Mickey's. I don't know, I gotta talk to Jason, but he said I could plan it all, he doesn't know. LOL
