Aerial and I may see Spider Man for Mother's day! She saw it last weekend but I haven't yet.
Go see it, especially if you have seen the first two. We saw it on the IMAX screen and really enjoyed it.:charac4: (If you are a fan of CSI, keep your eyes open for Conrad Ecklie.)

Sorry I have been out of touch. It is that time of year again. If you remember last year I was nuts and rarely posted this time of year. School is full of testing and getting ready for graduation. Which happens to be a huge part of my job.

One thing I have been told is, I may not have the same job next year. I do one job but actually have the title of another. That is the way it is in my school system. They do not have the budget for my title and techically are not even suppose to have my real postion.

Every year I am in an upheave to see what will go on. Normally by now I know though.

My title HS's only are suppose to have one postion but for some reason the school I work at has two.

Unfortuately the other girl passes away a week ago. I have no clue as to what I will be doing next year. Maybe if I am out of testing my life will not be as stressed. lol

Anyway, thanks for the email Sandy and Marcie.

I am thinking about each of you and have all of you and various situations in each of your lives in my prayers.

I miss you guys. The best way to talk to me is by email and I would prefer for you to use my aol addy. Which is jsme6 which is my aim user name as well.

Love to all. ;) :cool1:

Hope everyone has a nice Mother's Day!! We are going to Hudson Gardens for brunch with my parents, Brad's parents and his sister and family. It should be fun.

Jacob and I went to see Spiderman 3 yesterday. He had gone last weekend with Brad while Rachel and I were camping, but I wanted to see it too. He said he should come with me so I didn't get lonely. :) I really liked it, but I do love the Spiderman movies. :charac4:

We love Spidy too. I am hoping to talk Jeff into taking us later today and then on to eat at Blue Moon Oyster bar.

Marcie - You should try and get into POP, same price as All Star Movies I think. I am off and running to a Rockies game, will post more later.

Good to hear from you Selena.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, grandmothers, aunts, etc. on this thread!

Rob and I spent the weekend down the shore with my parents, aunt and uncle and now I just got back (five minutes ago!) and I"m doing my lesson plans. I'll be up soo late!! Anyway, I just wanted to drop in to say Happy Mother's Day and I will catch up later!!:wizard:

Good morning. I hope you all had a great Mother's Day. We had beautiful weather this weekend. Thursday night and Friday I went down to the campground with my parents then I came back up Friday afternoon to watch Chris's daughters school program. Saturday we went to get my rings checked and I ended up leaving without my rings and I will be picking up my new ring today. Chris got me a bigger diamond and we also picked out the wrap for the wedding band. I can't wait to pick it up today. Saturday night I went to the Rockies game with Taura. Sunday was spent cleaning and cooking. Chris cooked a roasted chicken, rice, asparagus and fresh fruit for my mom and we had them over for dinner.

Marcie - how did your weekend go, did you make it through? I thought about you all weekend long wondering how you were doing.

We could have seen you since we stopped to fill the gas tank at the station right next to Hudson Gardens on our way to Roxborough to hike.

We ended up watching the first Spider-Man movie on TV on Saturday night.

Great pictures Jrsy. It looked like it was going to rain with those dark clouds...did you get wet? How is Roxborough for hiking? I went a long long time ago and now that the girls love to go hiking I would like to take them somewhere new, they always want to go hiking at Red Rocks.

Thanks. We heard a few rumbles of thunder, but the clouds never really amounted to much. I don't think they ever even covered the sun.

Roxborough is not only very picturesque, but it has a variety of trails, too. We usually do the Fountain Valley Trail, which is a 2.2 mile loop that they list as Moderate, but I think it is pretty easy. There are two overlooks on side trails off of Fountain Valley, too. There is also a trail called Willow Creek that is 1.4 miles and is listed as Easy but we have never done that one. We have done the Carpenter's Peak trail twice, but never with Alex...actually Alex was with us the first time because we did it when Tammy was pregnant. If the girls like Red Rocks, they will probably enjoy Roxborough, too.

It sounds like everyone had a wonderful weekend! And the pics are great!

I had a pretty good weekend -- yesterday I ended up spending most of the day laying in bed with horrible sinus pressure. My allergies were killing me! Luckily today I am still cloggy but, not in pain! :)

Hi guys, back from a terrific weekend.

Jrsy, loved the pictures!!!!

Heidi, what Jrsy failed to tell you is that Roxborough is known for RATTLE SNAKES!! No way, no how for me! I hear though that it is sooooo beautiful. Thanks for making my Mothers Day so wonderful. LYMI

Lulu, did you get to bed on time???

Steph, hope you are feeling better.

Selena, it was so good to hear from you.

Marcie, I heard that there were some openings at POP. I never had any interest in POP until just recently. I saw some pictures. That place looks soooo good. I will definitely try and get in there next time.

Ah, yes, I guess I failed to mention that we were warned about rattlesnakes at the gate and that someone had been bitten the day before. We didn't see any, though. In fact, in all the years we have gone there, we have only seen one and it was very little. We have seen more deer than snakes.

Sandy, would you like me to post a couple more pictures so you don't have to go? It has been quite a few years since it has been as green there as it is right now.

Jrsy, what great pictures! *Definitely* not NJ, that's for sure!

Sandy, I hope you enjoyed the dinner Chris made for you! What a nice thing to do! :)

Heidi, I am glad you had a great weekend! I think it was so sweet of Chris to cook for you guys! I would love to see a pic of the new ring when you get them! :) How is the planning going?

Steph, hope you feel better!

Marcie, I agree with the others. Try for Pop. Robbie and I stayed there and if you ask for a third floor room, it's a lot quieter and it's a really fun resort - the big icons are cute and very Disney!

On Friday, my brother and SIL and 2 nephews came over to see my mom, etc. , on Sat. we met my other 2 brothers and their families (2 more SIL's, 3 more nephews and niece) at this deli that serves crazy huge portions! That night my parents, aunt and Robbie and I went to Atlantic City or as my nephew calls it "the grownup Boardwalk" (He is sooo cute!)

We slept over my aunt's house down the shore and we went out to breakfast on Sunday and shopped and hung around the house and went out to dinner on the way home. No one cooked a thing all weekend! :)

Lulu, it sounds like you had a great weekend! Too late, Heidi can't take a picture of her complete ring. I am taking her "wrap" to our safe deposit box tomorrow. BUT....believe me. It is absolutely GORGEOUS!
